As much as I like guy I feel like back when him and Kakashi were about to be blown away by the beasts.....it would have been a cool way for guy to have gone. Eight gates to protect his rival/friend Kakashi would have been great. I feel kishi is too hesitant to kill off people. If he were looking at this as the last arc....then some loved characters dying would liven up the plot alot

I doubt that anybody else (besides fodder) is going to die. The shinobi alliance isn't exactly getting massacred. They aren't winning, but they are at least holding their own. The Hokage are joining the battle. It will probably take time for them to reach the battlefield, but at least two of them can use S/T techniques to get there more quickly. They're probably going to stop off to save the Kage. We will either see Tsunade die at this point (leaving a last word to be relayed to Naruto/Seeing her grandfather again) or Hashirama will save her somehow.
