He had a few really good friends such as Iruka, Konohamaru, Gaara, Sakura, Shikamaru and later Kurama.

Sasuke shouldn't even be considered as his true friend or friend at all. A friend doesn't come to kill someone and put him in so much pain.

Well in a since Katara was also a mother figure to them or exhibited behaviors of a mother. She honestly looked out there well being, tended to their emotional needs, put their well beings before hers, nursed them when they were sick and reprimanded them for their bad behavior.

OT: Gaara is his best friend, Shikamaru is just like his friend that gives good advices other than that i see Naruto hanging out more with Gaara than Shikamaru since Shikamaru has his other group of friends as well.

Your right, Naruto never had to lean on Sakura but thats because she was always there. A mother's presence doesn't and shouldn't have to be sought after. It should always be available, which Sakura was.

All of his friends have tried to go against him before. Even when they were friends. Shikamaru, Gaara and Sakura...especially Sasuke.

They're more like brothers than friends. Infact i think naruto even stated he was a better brother to sasuke than itachi at one point, to which itachi was pleased about.
