Edo Madara and Pain.

Edo Madara blew my mind when we first saw him. It was insane seeing him do all that crazy stuff like Meteors, Rinnegan, and PS. He was also kind of funny. I liked how he asked "do you want them to use Susanoo".

Pain was also awesome. We knew about Akatsuki for so long and was exicitng to see what the higher-up was capable of. He looked cool and had a good ideology/motive. Kishi also did a good job at portraying how much of a threat he was in the Pain arc. Naruto entrance in the Pain arc was one of the most badass moments in the series, to this day imo, because it felt so good seeing him back after what Pain has done and the tensions for the fight.

i think obito was most badass in NV guy has all shades a comical, friend, most ruthless, satirical, dead serious never seen so many shades in any shinobi and his tobi masked man part was most badass part in manga than anyone followed by solo god itachi and madara, too bad itachi was not on the list as itachi soloed nearly everyone that he fought seriously no matter how powerful they are and jiraiya / sasuke don't count as he never wanted to harm konoha's top shinobi hokage material nor his beloved brother.

Probably Tobi (no, not after his identity reveal), I remember when I've only started watching Naruto some long time ago, and I saw an opening featuring Tobi, I really did shat my pants the moment I saw that glance of his and the mask with only one hole for an eye. I was like: "God damn, that's gotta be the toughest, strongest and most mysterious bastard in the series".
