Whos has walked the darkest path

So if your an avid Naruto manga reader you all know the background story of Sasuke and Obito/Tobi (if you dont know then now you know) which one has walked the darker path. explain why and if you think they will ever have a change of heart. if you think someone else has walked a darker path then let it be known.:hypertobi::sasuke:

Obito- Wants a stable world, where he would be with rin, although under genjutsu

Sasuke, his whole clan was annihilated and then after he trained so hard to kill his brother he found out that he did it because it was an order from the village, obito is just pathetic. If he was sasuke I could understand why he is the way he is but because rin die? no just no.
Also obito just wants a better world while sasuke just wants to get revenge.

Everyone in Naruto has a very sad background story but im thinking now itachi did walk a dark path but at the same time he was doing it for the greater good so i cant say his path was the darkest but it sure was a sad story compared to others
