In about a 100 words, more or less, tell me why you like Naruto. What you see in it, what it made you understand and feel, whether it changed your life in any way no matter how significant it is.

If you don't like Naruto, and are lying to yourself by thinking you just want to see the ending, even though you spend time on a forum for Naruto lol, I'll save you the trouble of saying it. Just leave, no need to spread negativity. But if you're a douchebag and still wanna do that, be my guest.

If I like your answer I will personally screen cap the upcoming chapter through Viz Manga and send you it to you. Just remind me to do so as I have other obligations as well.

The choice for the winner depends solely on me, if you don't like that, no need to participate.

Personally, I think Naruto is the second stage of Pokemon phenomenon. Most Pokemon fan is between 9-11 years old. They thought it's the coolest anime in the world.
As they grown up, they found another series --- Naruto. This happen to those who are between 13-16 years old. They're now found out about shounen stuff and thought Naruto is the best series to come out from this genre. Now, most of them thought Pokemon is a little childish anime to watch. Without knowing the reason why they thought Pokemon is childish is because now they're all grown up.

There are two result comes from Naruto,

1. Anime/manga fan will look up for new series and found out about other series that's better than Naruto. Which is why they consider Naruto is kiddish, lame, repetitive or such.

2. Self proclaimed anime.manga fan will be blinded by Naruto. That's where they got the term Narutards. They don't watch a lot of anime to begin with. Most of them start off with Naruto, which is why they consider Naruto is the best shounen anime out there.

There's an exception to die hard anime/manga fan. They've watched/read a lot of series other than Naruto. They found out about new series that is better than Naruto. But they still watch/read Naruto. However, they don't claimed Naruto as the best anime (or shounen type) of all time.

My opinion only involved those that born after 90's since most of C&A people are born after 90's. Most of them start off with Pokemon and Naruto in their life.

Anyway, I still like Naruto, but I don't really love it. Not to the point of dying to see the next chapter to come out. I think there's a lot of other series is much better than Naruto. But still, I don't dropped Naruto just like that. I still continue reading it. No matter how bad the series is, once I decided to collect it, I'll make sure the collection will be completed.

::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::...

This one wasn't related, just wanted to share my experience

You see, my country just released Naruto Vol 37 and One Piece vol 50 at the same time couple days ago. I don't read Naruto chapter online, I'm far behind most people in C&A because of that. However, when I read chapter 330-339 in the manga volume. I found the chapter is a bit.... boring? I don't feel anything while reading it (even though this is the part where Asuma died and Shikamaru takes revenge of him). Not sure why I felt that way.

Different things happen to One Piece, because even though I already read One Piece chapter (and finished Thriller Bark arc) online, I don't get boring when I read it again and again in the manga volume. There's something about One Piece series that never failed to impress me (especially when I read SBS because Oda revealed some of his hidden character on it).

Maybe I'm a little biased because I start off with One Piece before Naruto (the main reason is because my country released One Piece before Naruto).
I'm not born after the 90's either. Because of that, the first shounen stuff I know is Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest Dai No Daiboken.

Thanks for all your input friend and thanks for being the first person to take this thread seriously. The manga is good n all but the anime is where its truly at. It amplifies the experience, the only time a manga panel made me emotional was the time when Jiraiya sunk to the bottom of the ocean, but the anime has given me a similar feeling hundreds of times. Personally I only read the manga to know how the story will progress, the anime is what I truly look forward to.

I believe Naruto is the greatest story ever written and animated. This is coming from a long time anime fan. I watched anime all through the 90's and have seen some anime which most people don't even know about. Flame of Recca, Yamato Takeru, Grander Musashi, Ninja Tobikage and several others. DBZ and Naruto will always be my favorite ones though.

Anyways, thanks again for your effort bro.

I really like naruto...I like the way he acts with his friends...and anyone else...I also reaaallllyyyy like his way of ninja that he never give up... like shinobis...because they sacrifice everything for innocent people..Sth that we can't find in the real world...and it did change my attitude... I've learnt to things from two characters:first Naruto, who thought me to love my friends and comrades and never give up on them no matter what, and Itachi, who thaout me selflessness, and true meaning of sacrifice, and also to never forget the way I choose to live. :)

Naruto himself drew me in because he was some who never gave up no matter how many time he has gotten bashed, ignored or Hurt. i wanted that motivation but i was more like a Sasuke a loner who had hate for reasons. So i connected with him more. Plus all the characters with their own story remind me all in some way of my own life, i like it because the characters are loveable, the plot combines action and comedy in the perfect amounts, and enough plot differences occur to keep me interested even though the series is so long.

I'm not that big of a Naruto fan so I just want to share my thoughts.

Even though I watched anime before that, Naruto was the first manga I started reading (I was late though, I did it in 2007), but I quickly started reading other series as well. I actually went on to Seinen/horror stuff pretty quickly, but I read some Shounen series as well like FMA or Soul Eater. And honestly I enjoyed most of these other series more.

Naruto for me had its ups and downs - there are some arcs that I still find really enjoyable, but some are pretty boring. The main reason I'm here is that no other manga I'm reading have such active communities - I used to hang out in FMA fan clubs while it was ongoing and I spend a lot of time on the Wiki (I even became admin for a while), but then it ended, and all these sites became inactive. But then again I ended up spending most of my time in the Akame ga Kill fan club lately.

Naruto also had some characters that I ended up liking a lot, which is important for me - I need some character to like in order to keep being interested in the series, even if said character dies early. I still think Kishi gave his characters interesting definitions/characterizations (though many lack in development), they are distinct and vibrant enough and I have no problems remembering them all and imagining how they'd react to certain situations. The world of Naruto feels quite alive thanks to this.

Another point is artwork. I think it's very good, that's all. Again, Kishi gives his characters distinct appearances, and doesn't just use the same face shape for everyone.

Okay, I need to go now. Might continue later :|

This is the problem with the name of this manga, you guys thought I was talking about the character but I meant the series as a whole. I should have made that clear. Sorry about that.

I don't know if I get those 100 words but okay

Naruto was the first anime I watched and the first manga I read. My brother and said to me why don't you watch it? So I began watching it and it was amazing. I really love Naruto and I became addicted. I love the story of him. That boy who was hated by everyone became a hero of the Leaf. It has emotional moments and I'm not going to lie: I cried so many times. My friends ask me why I cry for a cartoon. But Naruto isn't just a "cartoon", it's more than that. I know it's fictional and stuff but I just.. I just like it. I can't really explain why I love Naruto but at least I know I love it. Naruto is the best thing that happened in my life. I have hmm well a "basic" life but Naruto "changed" it. I don't know how to put it in words lol. Well, thanks for reading :) I enjoyed sharing my thoughts
