OT : If Hiashi is too old, then it's Hanabi. The Byakugan Princess Hinata wasn't interested either, so after Hiashi it's Hanabi.
Hinata is from the Hyuga clan, she just got soloed by her younger sister and lost the position at the head of the clan so I would say Himawari is also Hyuga by extension.
kishi didn't fail with the female characters.Being a clan leader or a leader period among shinobi period is more prestigious in a world based on being a shinobi, which is what the manga is about. But it would've been nice to see Hinata motivated towards becoming Her clans leader; like Naruto wanting to become Hokage.

By extension? Himawari is a Hyuga. People here think that to be considered a Hyuga, both the mother and the father have to be Hyuga. Does that make any sense to have both parents from the same blood?
