This is about Chidori and not Lightning Cutter. And what has been shown, Sasuke has produced varies variations of Chidori.

Kirin, Susano'o Chidori, and long-range Chidori swords are pretty impressive. Kakashi's Chidori can't cancel out a Bijuudama, Sasuke's can. And are people forgetting Sasuke's meteor-busting Chidori from The Last?

Although I have no idea why the **** Chidori caused the meteor to explode the way it did. It's like watching jet fuel melt steel beams.

Kakashi. on the other hand upgraded his A-ranked jutsu to S-rank in form of Raikiri, which is overall better than the regular Chidori at all aspects...


To answer the thread, Chidori was same for both but Sasuke used it more and better...

In-game Kakashi smashes Sasuke when it comes to Chidori, no doubt.

Though Sasuke has more variants. But I still rather Kakashi's chidori use in cannon
as well especially because of his Chidori Hounds, Kamui Chidori(seriously imagine him being
able to still do something that ridiculous), and Lighting Transmission.

Edit: Dat Kakashi even when he's lost the sharingan he's soloing with a ranged
chidori variant.

Jutsu strength is determined by chakra strength. EMS Sasuke's Indra chakra >>> Kakashi's plain chakra with a hint of Obito's chakra. Thus his Chidori would be stronger, the name is simply unique to Kakashi

Sasuke's honestly.

Much of Kakashi's Raikiri variants require a lot of chakra such as his Raiton Clone and Raiden whereas Sasuke's doesn't have that repercussion and so they're often used quite frequently in comparison to Kakashi's. That's also excluding Sasuke's ability to use Enton Kagutsuchi w/ Chidori and the ability to use Chidori w/ Susano'o. Sasuke also has the hype to suggest that his Shape Manipulation is unique seeing as how Orochimaru and Deidara (if I remember correctly) had reacted to it whereas Kakashi had no such hype whatsoever.
