Whom do you think destroyed Uzushiogakure (Village hidden in the eddies/the uzumakis)

It's been bothering me for a while and I believe if Kishimoto decided to change his mind about completely ending the series, he could use this as one of the plot devices for it. Right now I have four guesses: Madara and the bloody Mist, Orochimaru and the Sound, Danzo and Hanzo and last but not least, the Cloud. I don't have any scans ready yet to support these, but I'll leave some elaborations.

Madara and the bloody mist
-I'm assuming Madara was knowledgeable of all the clans and likely knew of the powerful fuin jutsus as well as the uzumaki's blood ties to the senju. It also appears he may have been in control of the bloody mist before Obito. Could he have used them to destroy the Uzumakis? I also understand the Mist were absent in the third shinobi war for unknown reasons.

Orochimaru
-Orochimaru sought the most powerful jutsus in the world and harbored an Uzumakis himself. Could he have taken several or their jutsus and used his sound shinobi army to destroy the uzumakis?

Danzo and Hanzou
-Danzo and Hanzo were in league with each other shortly after the third war and Hanzo is believed to be the one who started the third shinobi war through unknown means. Danzo appears to have been deep into many things. Orochimaru's experiments and rebellion, assassination attempts on his own people and leaders, organizing a counter coup against the Uchiha, etc, but that's not the biggest thing that makes him a suspect to me. He used several powerful fuinjutsus. Is it possible he stole these from the uzumakis after he killed them just as he stole the sharingans from the Uchiha?

The Cloud
-The Cloud coveted powerful jutsus and kekkei genkis and deceived Konoha in order to obtain the Byakugan. They are also a warmongering nation with the largest military with several other past disputes with Konoha and other nations. Could they have staged a pre-emptive strike against Uzushiogakure?

Maybe the uzumakis simply had a civil war and sealed one another and the bordering enemies took care of the rest. Perhaps some even hired the Hyugas to finish them off since they can block chakra therefore they cant be sealed.

I still think the hyugas have some immensive power that is in par with the susanoo.

What if most of the uzumakis are just sealed off? And they are also feared to be one of the most powerful clans, would it be like opening a pandoras box if they let them out?

The story states that it was destroyed by several nations as they feared their Fuinjutsu ..However,madara may be a good guess but i've always wondered if he might have had a thing for Mito uzumaki(like the whole naruto-sakura-sasuke thing) .Kishi could certainly use the Uzushiogakure destruction mystery as a solid plot device for a new series.
