Alrighty!
Well after getting Chopper, they finally arrive in Alabasta! After arriving in a port town, we find that Smoker has persued them from Loguetown. We also find another man searching for Luffy. This man turns out to be Portgas D. Ace...Luffy's Brother, and is looking for a man named Teach AKA: Blackbeard.
Making their way through the deseart (Alabasta being a deseart country), they run into Mr. 0: Crocodile.....Luffy confronts him one on one while the others run; however, he gets stomped, stabbed (Crocodile has a hook for a right hand), and left in the sand to die.
Good time to note: Crocodile is a Sand-Man (convienint for a desert land).
Later at night Miss All-Sunday arrives and saves Luffy's life. Shortly after that, Vivi is captured by Miss All-Sunday leaving the group to go after her at Crocodile's casino. Smoker, still tailing Luffy, Luffy, Zoro, Ussop, and Nami are all captured by Crocodile....Sanji arrives to save them.
Acting on the captains orders, Zoro saves Smoker (As he cannot swim).
Eventually, Crocodile reveals his plot: Start a civil war in the kingdom, in the chaos he will take over the country. After that he is working with Nico Robin (the identity of Miss All Sunday) to get an Ancient War Boat called Pluton...which is strong enough to destroy islands. Mixing that with his sand power...he'd have an unstoppable fortress base.
After Luffy's second defeat, Crocodile and Robin head down to the Kingdom's Tombs to find the location of the War Ship by having Robin read the Poneglyph (a block with a ancient language that only Robin can read). Robin lies about the info on there, and Crocodile stabs her because he saw through it.
Luffy arrives down at the Tombs and on his third try, he defeats Crocodile, and the Kingdom is saved. The other crew members naturally take on the elite of Baroque Works...Zoro defeating Mr. 1 who was a sword man, and Sanji defeats Bon Clay who uses ballet leg attacks.
After Alabasta, Vivi decides to remain with her country instead of her new friends....and after leaving and escaping some marines, it turns out Nico Robin has hidden on the ship. After some surprise, it turns out that as the Tombs were collapsing, Luffy had saved Robin from the collapsing Tombs....for causing her to live, he must take responsibility...to which Luffy says sure....shocker lol!
They then arrive on an island where they find out that a place called Sky Island exists. After a run in with a douchebag pirate named Bellamy....They arrive on sky island. On their arrival, a man named Enel (a self proclaimed God) ends up forcing the Straw Hats in a survival game with 51 total members all in a battle royale in a forest....The Straw Hats origionally in search of Gold in the ancient city of Gold.
The comprising forces are the Skypians, the origional inheritants of the City of Gold, and the Straw Hats. By the end of the fighting, the final six people standing are Robin, Zorro, Enel, Nami, the Sky Knight (the previous God AKA: Ruler of Skypia), and an origional Inheritant named Wiper I think (Luffy like a dumbass got eaten by a giant snake...so technically there are 7 contestants still concious, but Enel fails to notice him).
During her time alone, Robin finds another Poneglyph like the one in Alabasta (she is an archeologist who wishes to uncover history...as such, she searches for these stones in order to find out about an Ancient Civilization and a 100 year viod in history...hidden by the government). On this glyph indicates a Golden Bell that Enel happens to be looking for.
After attempting to use information against Enel from attacking (trying to get him to believe he'd ruin the Bell)...he calls her bluff and in an upset repsonse electocutes her. Enel is a Lightning Man with the Logia Fruit the Gorro- Gorro no Mi. He then proceeds to eliminate everyone, except Nami who follows him. His plan is to destroy Skypia and take a flying ship to the Moon...where he and what would have been his chosen followers (the remaining 5 contestants of his "game") with him.
Luffy wakes up and Robin tells him where to go. Lightning turns out to have a weakness to Rubber (ha Ironic), and Luffy manages to defeat Enel.
The citiziens of Skypia retrieve the Golden Bell (which Luffy punched Enel into), and Robin discovers a Poneglyph on it She also finds out that somehow, Gol D. Roger could also write in Poneglyph.
After landing from Skypia, and a pointless encounter with a Pirate Named Foxy, we run into the power of Marine Headquarters. Blue Pheasan Kuzan: Aokiji. His arrival completely terrifies Robin...which is a first for the mysterious Straw Hat....as Aokiji begins revealing some of her past, she attacks, and we see just how Cool this guy is.
Aokiji is an Ice Logia user, and he promplty freezes Robin. To save the crew, Luffy challenges him one on one...though he gets stomped...Aokiji spares him.
After Waking up Luffy decides they need a Shipwrigth to fix the Going Merry and goes to Water 7 to retrieve one. Having gained the money to do so from Skypia...their hearts are broken when they are told that the Going Merry has become damaged beyond all repair....this leads to a fight between Ussop and Luffy, and Ussop leaves the crew.
During this time, Robin and Chopper are looking at books when a man in a costume (a festival is going on so yeah) says, "CP-9"...and Robin dissapears shortly after. That night, the lead of Water 7: Iceburge-san, is almost killed, and wouldn't you know it the culprit is Nico Robin...the other Straw Hats are nicely also accused.
Luffy...not allowing Robin to leave, confronts her as she with CP-9 are in the middle of a second assassination attempt. It turns out that the true goal is to obtain the Blueprints on how to make: SURPRISE: the ancient weapon Pluton.....turns out, Iceburgh doesn't have it and so the leave...after thrashing Luffy and Zoro (Sanji is elsewhere looking for Robin, and Ussop is trying to rescue the Going Merry).
Turns out, Water 7's thug criminal Franky (who gets into a fight with Luffy and Ussop early on) has the Blueprints and he is with Ussop (and the Going Merry) when CP-9 arrives for them. Easily defeating the two, CP-9 takes them prisoner, and then Ussop watches in horrer as the Going Merry is taken into the stormy ocean. The problem being that Water 7 has a natural storm called Aqua Laguana (close enough) that crushes parts of the city...in English: The ship is going to be destroyed. There are waves larger than Galleon sized ships...
After comming to conciousness from the destroyed building that was Iceburge's home, the find out why Robin left....in order to gurentee the safety of the other Straw Hats that Robin had grown to love, she would give up running from the government. Fueled by this knowledge, the Straw Hats chase after her as they head to Ennis Lobby on a sea train (a literal train that goes on train tracks...that happen to be on the water).
On the train ahead of them lie Robin, Franky, Ussop, and Sanji (who snuck aboard). Sanji frees Ussop and Franky (Ussop taking up a disguise as Sogeking (sniper king) to embarrased to take the risk of being seen by Luffy), and they move to save Robin; however, their train car is detatched from the main train...Robin hurting Ussop because he was basically putting himself at risk.
After this, they rejoin Luffy's train and the Franky Family (who are working with Luffy to save Franky) and head to Ennis Lobby.
Robin's train arrives...we find out there are more CP-9 members, and finally after all the SH's arrive on a building across from Robin...Robin's past is revealed.
Her mother left when she was young to study the Void Century (that whole 100 year gap thing...yeah its illegal and if you're caught: Decapitation). She has no known father, and lives with her Aunt and Uncle basically with Harry Potter level respect.
Because she has her DF, the other children pick on her and so she's basically alone on Ohara Island: the island of archeology.
One day, a Giant arrives on her island...and shortly after her mother returns with news that the Gov. is onto what the Archeologists are doing. Turns out the giant named Jaguar D. Saul is an ex marine, and the Gov. is gonna blow up the island!
At the end of the day, after meeting her mom for the first time since she was two, meeting her first friend other than the archeologists....they all die leaving her as the last one living...Aokiji kills Saul, but since the two had been friends...lets her leave the island safely.
Luffy demands she say she wants to live, she does, and the SH's proceed to kick ass.
Finally gaining victory and in the process Franky the shipwright (convieniant). With no escape from Ennis Lobby....they are trapped, but oh hey: the Going Merry arrives to save them. After a short final ride...the ship breaks and Luffy burns it. Franky builds a new ship named the Thousand Sunny, and the Straw Hats head off on a new adventure...after escaping Luffy's uncle....Vice-Admiral Monkey D. Garp...hero of the marines (basically he's a badass that's Admiral Level, but he never took promotion).
They then arrive at Thriller Bark where Brook is introduced. After fighting off against the henchment of Zombies...we find out that their enemy is the Schichibukai Gekko Moriah. After a lot of fighting...they defeat him only for another Warlord to arrive.....Bartholomew Kuma "The Tyrant"....he easily KO's the SH's....leaving only Zorro and Sanji awake. Zorro knocks out Sanji, and in order to save everyone, Zorro takes all of the pain Luffy has endured (which should have killed him...it didn't).
The reason another Schichibukai arrived is because Ace has been captured (Luffy's brother)....he tried to fight Blackbeard...he lost.
The SH's unaware, continue to adventure having added "Humming" Brook to the list as their musician. The arrive on Sabondy archepelligo where the befriend a Mermaid named Camie....she gets kidnapped, they save her Running into Hachhin the octopus from Arlong Park (he's become a good guy), and they meet Silvers Rayleigh (First mate of the Roger Pirates....AKA: A badass). It is here we discover that there are the World Nobles....as well as the "Worst Generation" AKA: Luffy's rivals of the sea.
Only one's worth mentioning right now are Trafalgar Law and Eustass Kidd....while Camie is kidnapped and almost sold as a slave..Hacchin is shot (people on the island are racist against Mermen), and the one who shoots him is a world Noble....Pissed, Luffy straight decks him in the face.
World government doesn't like it and send an Admiral after them. ENTER: Kizaru "Yellow Monkey".....the troll of this series, and the Pacifista: A Bio-Weapon that looks like Bartholomeu Kuma. End of the story: Kizaru stompst a lot of pirates (Hawkins, X-Drake, Urogue, Appoo.....all members of the "Worst Generation")...and the real Kuma shows up.
Kuma is a "Paw Man" meaning his palms are shaped like a Kitty or Dog palm...his power is to reflect things....using this power, he one by one separates the Straw Hats...sending them to different Islands around the OP world.
It is here that Luffy ends up on the Kuja Island (the island of beautiful Women)....after some confrontation with Schichibukai Boa Hancock "Pirate Empress", Luffy finds out about his brother's execution....and goes to the prison Impel Down to save him....he arrives late as he was taken to Marineford (basically headquarters for the marines).
While at the prison....he finds some unexpected allies: Crocodile, Mr. 3 (an Alabasta enemy that has a Clay power), Buggy the Clown, Bon Clay, Mr. 1 (sword man Zoro fought), Ivankov, and Jinbei.
Ivankov: She is a revolutionary (a group trying to directly fight the WG)...her compainion is Dragon, and it is revealed at Water 7 that Dragon is Luffy's father....you may recall that in Loguetown, he saved Luffy from Smoker.
Jinbei: A merman and Ex-Schichibukai...became a rival and friend of Ace.
Enter the Marineford War
Ace is a member of the Whitebeard Pirates....Whitebeard is a Yonko which is an Emporer...in the New World (Second half of the Grand Line), the 4 Yonko or Pirate Lords rule the seas....These Yonko being Whitebeard, Shanks, Big Mom, and Kaidou.
As such, Whitebeard arrives to save Ace....as does Luffy with a band of mistfits.
At the end of the war.....Ace dies, Whitebeard dies, and Blackbeard (the man Ace chased after: He is an ex member of Whitebeard's crew. He killed a Nakama to get his Darkness Fruit) found some way to steal a DF power....as he takes Whitebeard's fruit.
This is shocking because 1. You're only capable of having one fruit...he now has two. 2. Whitebeard's fruit was an earthquake fruit....EXTREMELY OVER POWERED.
Completely traumitized....Luffy has lost it, and through the efforts of Jinbei and Rival Pirate Trafalgar Law (arriving in his badass Submairne) he lives. Shanks arrives and ends the war...go Shanks.
During this time...the rest of the crew.
Zorro: Stuck on a creepy island...turns out to be Mihawk's island
Nami: On a Weather Island
Ussop: On a jungle island...where he aquires pop greens to use as weapons
Chopper: On an island where he can learn medicine
Franky: On an island where he can learn weapons building and stuff...forgot: Franky is a cyborg)
Brook: Random Island where he begins to play music for some guys
Sanji: Crossdreasing island...sucks to suck ladies man
Robin: Bridge called Tequellia Wolf...she's rescued by the Revolutionaries....who have been looking for her.
All that sounds pretty convienient right?!
Anyhow. Rayleigh comes to Luffy and decides that he will train for two years to get stronger. He makes a distraction to let people know....people get the message.
TIME SKIP!!!!!!!!
They arrive again on Sabondy Archepelligo.
Shit on people....we find out that Kuma was a revolutionary.....sending the Straw Hats to places that would help them.
Go to Fishman island.....Robin finds a Poneglyph...learns about ancient weapon Poseiden (turns out to be the mermaid princess). SH's shit on Fishmen.
10 vs 100,000....Straw Hats WRECK them.
They leave Fishmen Island...Luffy declaring war on Yonko Big Mom.
Arrive in the New World (note: FISHMAN ISLAND is at the bottom of the ocean...they make a bubble around their boat to go down there....its some pretty cool stuff).
The find a mystery island called Punk Hazard: Turns out a crazy Scientist is there....Smoker makes his debuet....Law makes his appearance here as well.
Basically he's testing chemicals on children....then Luffy and Law team up as a plan to defeat a Yonko: Kaidou. Phase one is to kidnap Ceaser.
We find out that Ceaser works with a Schichibukai: Joker AKA Doflamingo who's a perpetual badass.
So currently they are on Dressrosa which is Doflamingo's island. A little rushed at the end there...but I tried right?!
