minato is awesome but there's no way he could beat the final susanoo all by himself

Because of elemental affinities and other factors, matchups aren't always straight-forward. For instance, a high-level fire user might be beaten by a mid-level water user, just because of the elemental discrepancy. Strategies that work against large groups of people don't work the same against a single opponent, etc.

Naruto's main strength is his brute force and his immense chakra reserves. Minato's main strengths are his speed and his intelligence (and how he uses things like Space/Time jutsus, rasengan, chakra control and seals). Naruto's brute strength isn't enough to defeat Obito, even if Naruto is "technically" more powerful than Obito. The matchup just doesn't work in his favor.

Minato, on the other hand, clearly has chances against Obito. We've seen Minato defeat him once already. Does this mean that Minato is more powerful than Naruto? No. It just means that Minato is better in this one matchup than Naruto is.

(Likewise, I would suspect Hashirama would not be able to defeat Obito, because Hashirama's style relies on big overwhelming attacks, which wouldn't hurt Obito. Tobirama, on the other hand...)

Against Madara it's a different question all together. Madara IS susceptable to big physical attacks. We've seen the Raikage punch through his Susanoo defenses already. A fast, powerful attacker should be able to do the same thing. But then again, Madara is an Edo zombie. That means that he needs to be attacked AND SEALED. Naruto can do the attacking, Minato can do the sealing, everybody wins.

Minato + Naruto would make a great combination. Minato could use FTG to get Naruto close, and then Naruto could use Odama Rasengan or something similar to bust through Susanoo. Once busted, Minato could seal Madara (although, he probably can't use the Reaper Seal with a zombie body, so he'd have to pick a different technique).
