If I asked;"Who do you love the most?" I would have certainly gotten more replies stating "I love them all equally", but asking a question like this would prompt people to answer differently.
I know who would I would choose, and I have a distinct set of reasons behind my choice.

The only logical choice is the child. If you saved your mother or lover, they would probably resent you for letting their grandchild/child die. Plus it is human instinct to save your offspring. The choice isn't impossible, just difficult for most people to make and deal with afterwards
