Who would you have WANTED Tobi to be?

From all the threads I've read, lots of people are disappointed that Tobi is actually Obito and that ever since the story has been going down hill. If you got to choose, who would you have wanted Tobi to be? and why?

I wanted and thought, Obito.

Edit: I thought it was Obito because it seemed the most obvious. Second, the other characters that were proposed didn't make much sense. *Mask Shatters* It's Izuna and everyone on the battle-field is like who the hell is he? Worse scenario for Kagami. Danzo was kinda stupid in my opinion and Future Sasuke.. I won't touch on that. Also, I didn't want to see someone like Izuna who was already pretty talented or someone like Kagami that we knew nothing about to be Tobi since somebody like Obito who was not too good a ninja becoming someone like he is now, is too cool. But I have to admit [

Maybe, some sort of plot twist that showed it was Izuna

At the introduction of his character, I didn't care.

By Deidara's death, Madara.

I wanted/thought this till Madara's arrival. Then I assumed he'd be some new character...

I never wanted nor thought it logical for Obito to be Tobi.

So i was pretty satisfied with the result as you might imagine

Why? Cause Obito was actually a character that we knew about and had some backstory on. I don't think it would have worked out if it turned out to be some random no-name shinobi like Kagami and the'd suddenly have to explain his whole lifestory. Could have worked out i guess, but I still think Obito was the better choice.

I went from thinking Obito->Madara->Kagami (dumb I know) -> Obito.

I was right at the beginning and end but I'm pretty glad it was Obito. After seeing the flashbacks, I started to grow to like Obito/Tobi's character development alot.
