What makes you think gajeel would win??? In that first fight they had, if i remember correctly gajeel started owning natsu when he ate the metal... Natsu didn't have any fire around so lucy merely provided fire through sagiturius...

Exactly there was no fire, so natsu would have lost if Lucy did not intervene natsu would got beat down gajeel didint need help from anyone else getting iron he got it on his own

It was the locational advantage that gajeel had if not it would have been a draw or natsu would win through the "nakama" power.... But i guess you got a point

Future Rogue was beating Natsu because he could use the shadows to his advantage, now that Gajeel can do that and his roar that destroyed a massive part of the fighting area against Rogue, there is no way Natsu can beat him.

He'd give Gajeel a good fight but not enough to win.

Gajeel's ability to merge with the shadows and a dragon roar of that scale would really mess up Natsu.

Considering Natsu had a really tough time with Jackal, I don't see him winning this unless the "power of friendship" activates which is bullshit.
