Who would win in a fight: Gaara vs Kakuzu & Hidan?

What if Kakuzu and Hidan had to capture Gaara instead of Sasori and Deidara. I, personally, don't think they would be able to beat him

Depends. Zombie Bros got Intel? If they do they can win. They must also lure Gaara out of the desert.

If both of them fought Gaara where he fought Kimimaro, they can win. In fact, Kakuzu can take him on 1v1. Water element jutsu to weaken the sand + Gian straight through Gaara's sand defense and the kid gets his head sniped. If Gaara attempts to use sand to grab Kakuzu, he can punch and kick them away with his raw strength (He did so against the gate and concrete walls behind Shikamaru).

Hidan is a bonus. 1 drop of blood and the kid dies.

They wouldntve been able to pull it off imo, it’s really kakuzu he has to deal with as hidan could be trapped in sand pretty quick if he doesn’t know it’s coming, kakuzu has issues getting through his sand armor, deidara was a perfect match up for gaara due to flight and his smaller bombs, I don’t see the duo pulling it off, and if they did it wouldn’t be anything less than extremely high difficulty... imo
