well then the espada are not stupid,lets say itachi summoned susanoo any espada could shoot a cero on the ground to break it then susanno would fall,besides ulquiorra could use Sonido and stab itachi in his heart in the first second of the fight(the way he killed ichigo>.>)

first of all, there is no competition... they r best in their own world...The character's of naruto cannot show that much power as the one in bleach but u never knw abt kishi....

I am not talking about pains bodies, I am talking of Nagato only, nagato of that time when he faced hanzo, Gedo Mazo do fits well in bleach as it sucks souls...
If you are talking about speed diffrence, he seems to be pretty fast to keep up with bleach chars. Though not sure wat can do....

I actually think this is closer than some of you are making it out to be. Susanoo, some of Orochimaru's jutsu, Pain's jutsu are comparable to some of the bankai/ressurrections we've seen in bleach. For instance I think that if Komamura went up against Itachi I think Itachi would win. From what we've seen out of Sajin he relies on brute force with his bankai, but Susanoo is said to be able to be able to block any attack. I think Itachi would win that match up pretty easily.

But for this particular match up of Akatsuki vs. Espada, Espada win. Any of the top six Espada could most likely take Akatsuki out single handedly.

I'm not too sure, I think it's hard to gauge their strenght in comparrison to the other as they use completelly different fighting methods. Saying that I still think the fight would lean slightly more to the espada side :naruto:
