you dont seem to understand, by ending Edo he died, therefore he could be of no future assistance in the efforts to defeat Madara and obito. So just because Edo gives you unlimited chakra it doesn't mean it's the ultimate jutsu especially when your the one who is bound by edo. "Everything that glitters isn't gold"
