Who do you think would take sasuke down?
Who ever it was they have to have great speed.. a way to counter chakra attacks, decent tia Jutsu (even though its gotten to the point where sasuke doesnt even move an inch when hes fighting...but thats another thread for another day) And most of all he cant have any emotional ties with sasuke so he wouldnt hesitate to kill when the right moment came.
