Only Madara (Rinnegan) and Tobi (Maybe) can defeat a healthy Nagato IMO. Hashirama is stronger but I don't see how he can beat a Rinnegan user :\

Possibly Itachi - only if he used genjutsu right off the bat to give him an opening and followed it up with the insta win of the Totsuka sword

Possibly Naruto, it depends on how fast Nagato can react and switch his paths, because Naruto is crazy fast right now.

If Nagato can switch between Asura, Preta, and Deva path fast enough then he could beat Naruto, if not then I think Naruto takes it.

Hashi fought ems madara(and dont bring the fox in it its a summon its fair besides if you saw the Generations video of them fighting kyubi didnt seem that strong) did you see how fast madara would of been taken out if he didnt have rinnegan, yeah exactly. But i agree with you man

Tobi is the number one opponent in my opinion who can fight Nagato at the moment . ( mainly due to space time ninjutsu )

Madara may fight with him on equal terms , but Nagato is more experienced with Rinnegan . There's nothing that Madara has shown till now , that Nagato can't deal with . ( as for the huge meteor , Nagato blasts it with the crater creating Shinra Tensei that blew konoha , taking into account Nagato is stronger than Pain ) ( wood style wouldn't even make Nagato drop a sweat , just spam Asura missles to destroy the forests )

Kabuto : Will have high chance , if he summoned all his edo tensei army at once.

Some other suggestions by people :

Bijuu Naruto : No way , he is chakra , guess what that means .... (preta)
Itachi (non edo ): He will lose his stamina or go blind , before even Nagato uses 3/10 of his chakra ( uzumaki )

You all know that I mean the living ones out there not deads, thats the reason why i didn't post of who i think could because I don't who. Besides when it comes to dead peoble there are a few who could beat Like minato and hashirama.
