Who would be the best friend you could have?

From the Naruto characters who would you say is the best friend a person can have? What makes said person a good friend?

I think a true friend has to be honest with you, no matter what. They should tell you the truth, even if it hurts. They shouldn't blindly rely on you but be there for you. They should be a good listener but also someone to have fun with.

If I could pick any of the anime characters (Naruto of course), I'd love to have a friend like Kakashi or Gaara. Both are mature, honest, would die to protect you and also seem to be fun to get along with as soon as you gain their trust. For the funny beer-drinking party type of friend, Tsunade would be cool to have around.

Yeah, Naruto can be a pain in the butt. Plus whenever you make a decision that he doesn't agree over, he'll try to bash the 'truth' into your head. Of course he tried to save Sasuke but at some point, he clearly had to accept Sasuke becoming the bad guy. He should stop denying it, especially because Sasuke is not his brother/child. Plus Naru has found many other friends to care for.

Lee would kill me as a friend. He'd simply want to sparr all day and I'd die. Hinata won't be bad at all but I would like to be crazy with someone and have fun. She is too shy for such stuff. Same would have been Neji, a little bit too serious but a decent person.

Sai is too crazy for my taste. He has to learn social skills first. He is like a dude that spent all life on the internet and never went outside *looks around*...

Ino is too superficial and Sakura has to fully find her way and handle herself first. Tenten is a cool person I think. And Choji would eat all my candy, gettin me mad.
