Who would be a better Kurama host Naruto or Sasuke

what have we learned so far, Bijuu's and Uchiha's don't get along so well (sharingan/torture/using them).

no seriosuly, Kurama cannot fight/trust/ believe in a host like Sauske, he kind of believed in Naruto's good heart because his motives/views resembles those of the SO6P's (the greatest man Kurama ever knew).

so let's say that you have to prove a LOT before you can have Kurama on your side, and that is something Sasuke could never have done (he saw everyone as something disposable and would do/sacrifice anything to reach his goal) meaning Kurama will always refuse to help him, Sasuke will just see him as a tool.

Naruto is the better. that should be obvious.

However, Kurama-Sasuke relationship would interesting to behold . . . at a distance. They are two similar characters. The tailed beasts and Uchiha were confined. Both decided to do something about through the curse of hatred. Both are very dark and selfish characters, albeit characters who can care very deeply but prefer not to. Of course, Sasuke and Kurama bonding over their mutual hatred would be destructive to say the least, but it would be an interesting relationship.

so even if Kurama becomes friends with Sasuke after bonding over their hatred (which is unlikely), it would be a terrible relationship. They would bring out the worse in each other. Naruto and Kurama, however, bring out the best in each other. This makes for a better relationship.

Naruto is better for this. Better for any person shown in manga until now. He isn't manipulated by others like Sasuke, he got a big heart. Also there are other factors like him being an uzumaki, sasuke's body couldn't handle the nine tails.

I don't buy some of the comments made against Saske for reasons that his body can't handle it. There's no reason why he couldn't handle it, his body took to the deadly power of the cursed seal no problem, and the Uchiha are used to having exceptional chakra

The only reason for the Konoha village only using Uzumaki were for the most part coincidence


As stated in chapter 493 a jinchūriki was chosen primarily always chosen from among the wives, children and close relatives of the kages of the 5 villages to assure that the jinchūriki would a) never betray the village, and b) to ensure that both the jinchūriki & kage act in unison to protect the village

That's why Mito was chosen, not to mention being an Uzumaki she had the fuinjutsu needed to seal the Kurama
That's why Kushina was chosen, being one of the few surviving close relatives of Mito; plus her own unique chakra, unique to Kushina alone

I feel as though Sasuke would have made a great jinchuriki because as a genius he would have figured out how to control the kyuubi's power alot sooner to some degree. Not perfect, the way Naruto has now, but as a genius I feel he would have figured out how to control and draw from portions of Kurama's chakra at will at points earlier in his life than rely on the Gohan moments where Naruto didn't release it at will for the longest.

But in the end Naruto is eventually became the perfect jinchuriki as only he could gain Kurama's trust and cooperation. As Mito said, the vessel would have to be filled with love

Sasuke's hate would have taken him really far and made him really powerful; however he would never be able to have controlled kurama's full power without Kurama trying to take over him and breaking the seal. To access the perfect kyuubi mode that Naruto eventually gained only came when he & Kurama became partners, when Kurama's heart was changed by Naruto treating him like equals and not just some tool or pet to be controlled. This erased most of the hatred in Kurama's heart and he was willing to fully cooperate with Naruto and give him 100% of his chakra without trying to take over

This wouldn't have happened with Sasuke

Of course we no that Naruto has come eye to eye with Kurama as of late but that took his whole life the only reason Kurama has become friends with Naruto is because naruto currently look's at him as an equal (that impressed Kurama) for the first time in the past 17 years but Sasuke would he have been a better Host considering he knew love and Hate which would have allowed he and Kurama to communicate often

Plus it he had Kurama, the clan would look at him as they did Naruto. Before they all liked him for being an Uchiha but they would hate him as being the host or a "Monster". Sasuke went evil from his hatred of Itachi without Kurama, if he had Kurama then Kurama would leak his chakra out which was filled of strong hatred. Kurama would offer Sasuke more power to kill Itachi and take him over that way.

Naruto having bonds help saved him from this fate, Sasuke cut all bonds from people except to Itachi which only fulled his anger. Sasuke wouldn't have the MS to control Kurama before this happened and Kurama can leak chakra out whenever Sasuke got angry which was alot in part 1 and 2.

Just to respond to this, Sasuke only chose the path of evil intent when he thought it would grant him the power needed to defeat Itachi. Had he been the kyuubi jinchuriki he would have already had the pwoer needed to defeat Itachi, only thing that would have been left would have been mastering that power.

I have my doubts about the Uchiha treating Sasuke as a "momstor" given that they were planning a coup d'etat would have seen him as a valuable weapon needed on their side if they were going to take control of Konoha.

Again, Sasuke only went evil and cut off all ties when he felt it would give him the power boost needed to defeat Itachi; the power/chakra boost he wasn't getting and never would have gotten from Konoha. Sasuke only followed Oro when Oro offered him far more power offered by Kakashi or what anyone else in Konoha would have been able to help him achieve...give him Kurama from the start there wouldn't have been a need to follow the path of darkness, never would have left Konoha to join Oro

But I still agree that at the end of the day Naruto is the best jinchuriki since Obito & The Sage of the Six Paths

You forget the most important part... "Compatibility". If you think Sasuke can host the 9 tails, then you should re-read the manga.

I think Kurama and Naruto are more similar than Kurama and Sasuke, because both Naruto and Kurama were misunderstood and treated like monsters. Also for a while, Naruto was also treated like a weapon for the village by Danzo and the elders.

You should know that Sasuke didn't even know that the Uchiha were confined, until Obito told him the truth.
