I don't think so. Kurama is the one handing chakra, because -He- can. Naruto only adapts it to the one being given.

Minato can give chakra by himself, so he doesn't need Kurama/BM to do it.

At least that's how I see it.

There has to be a mistranslation.

If Naruto can send chakra, then he wouldn't need BM, since in KCM he already has a supply of Kurama's chakra he can access at will. That only goes to show it's Kurama that does it, not Naruto.

Also, Naruto states that he can't hand out chakra since Kurama needs to mold more, despite being in KCM. That shows that Kurama is necessary for this process.

It was believed Kurama was also necessary for KCM, yet Minato achieved more than any pseudo jin seen, since everyone else could only get up to v2.

It makes no sense for Naruto to be the one transfering chakra, yet being unable to do it out of BM.

In any case, Minato has the ability to give chakra and he can access his half of the Kyuubi at will. Whether he gives his team a V1 cloak or not, he can still transfer chakra to them.
