That is non-canon and non-factual.

It was never said that Genjutsu couldn't be cast immediately and had to be learned. The manga never said that Sasuke didn't use genjutsu in VOTE1 because he didn't know how, he just didn't use it in the fight. All of the Sharingan's abilities are privy to the user and don't need to be learned. Obito was never taught how to use his Sharingan and was able to control the Mizukage.

Not talking bout whether it can be used, more like to what EXTENT can it be used. Genjutsu relies on intelligence and creativity, the person has to train their brain in order to improve how effective illusions are.


Best example, Itachi rarely used MS because his efficiency with 3T genjutsu worked on nearly every level of opponent, now compare that to Sasuke who had to spam his MS because he couldn't use basic genjutsu like a master illusionist.

Itachi didn't, he only reffered to her specifically as sensei, the tone he used also implied he was commenting on her moves based on previous experience sparring with her.

Regarding the Kakashi one, it makes me think maybe the filler episode on him working under Kakashi may have partly canon. It makes sense that the ANBU captaincy would've been passed down from Lakashi onto Itachi.

Shisui was his teacher when he was in ANBU but I'm talking before that when he was still genin. Even though Itachi was captain by 13 he still had to go be a genin first and Kurenai would've been his teacher/mentor/supervisor at that time.
