Who will survive? Kakashi or Obito

Before you post and the Kakashi fanboys invade this isn't a thread about WHO IS THE STRONGEST. Otherwise this would be in the versus thread section, for the sake of the plot (because thats all Kishi cares about, because it's good writing) who do you think will come out victorious? I had a very determined opinion but how the forum is responding to this chapter is really mixed so it could really go either way.

Argument for Kakashi surviving:

• We haven't seen his 1000 jutsu, this would be the perfect time for Kishi to show it.
• It's possible Kishi wants to dispatch Obito soon if he doesn't want to focus on him anymore.
• It will be crazy character development for the guy and a perfect end to the Kakashi story.
• His kamui ability is too convenient.

Argument for Obito surviving:

• Kakashi's story was wrapped up long ago.
• The fight is taking place in Obito's dimension.
• Kakashi might not even have the Kyuubi cloak anymore!
• He has the potential to be the main villain (saying he might become the jinchuuriki seems to hint he might be the final villain even)
• Obito needs to fight Minato again.
• Kakashi's eye could serve as a major powerup for Obito when he rejoins the battlefield.
• Kakashi has been on the top of Kishimoto's hitlist for a couple of years now.
• Kakashi has died once already, Kishi wanted him to die another way and brought him back for this defeat.
• There is unresolved issues with Naruto and Obito, their fight is NOT over.
• Kakashi is emotionally and physically exhausted.
• Kakashi blames himself for Rin and might even let Obito kill him if the emotions get that high.

Argument for them both dying together:

• The perfect ending for both characters.
• It gets both characters out of the way for future events.

This ISNT about who is the stronger ninja, which is the most likely to happen plot-wise?
And don't say he'll Talk no Jutsu Obito, that sh*t is impossible.

Hmmmm. Why not let them both survive. I mean they will have a battle in obito's dimension, but no killing yet. To be honest, for me theRe will be a little talk no jutsu scene there.

Because it is one of 1000 jutsus that Kakashi has copied, and he copied that in Naruto.

Also another point of letting them survive is that, Minato must see that Obito was behind the kyuubi attack, and there must be an another Team 7 reunion.

Uhm, Kakashi will probably TnJ Obito.

I honestly don't even consider this an option.

Obito's character and determination has not even nearly been swayed throughout the entire 16 years he has been at his plan, Naruto and Kakashi's attempts to talk sense into him and reason with him have done literally nothing.

His hate for Kakashi is immense.

He isn't doing the Moon eye plan entirely for Rin, that is ridiculous and why people underestimate Obito. Rin was just his childhood metaphor for everything that was wrong with the world, his plans and morals have gone a bit further than just the death of one girl since that.

Sasuke and Orochimaru have apparently both miraculously been turned good last chapter as well, Kishi isn't going to do this three times in a row in the space of a few chapters, it looks repetitive and silly.

The odds are already so against Madara that if he lost Obito the fight wouldn't even be interesting. It'd be literally everyone ever from all Naruto history against Madara Uchiha, that would be lame.

Um it's a possibility but I really don't see that Kishimoto would've made such a dramatic deal out of them being teleported in such a vital moment of the war if he wasn't planning some closure with one of them. Team 7 reunion also doesn't...really need Kakashi. Kakashi and Sasuke already fought and said everything they had to say so it'd be a bit awkward.

Madara needs Obito to sacrifice himself in order to become the juubi host. I see this outcome:

They warp back with Obito defeated(no kamui in cube world I guess). Minato sees Obito on his kness, finds out the truth and then Obito uses Rinnei Tensei to fully revive Madara since he thought he was going to die anyway. Madara becomes the host, cast infinite tsukyomi and them somehow Orochimaru takes over his body and becomes the final villian.

That's just your favouritism for the character speaking. Just because he was his mentor doesn't mean he'll survive? And Kakashi will not become Hokage. It's not going to happen.

Kakashi may not even have the Kyuubi cloak anymore as they're totally cut off from Naruto & Kurama.

Madara and Juubi isn't here to pause problem to Kakashi in kamui's dimension.
Since they're fighting in kamui's dimension, they're both velnerable if they don't change dimension, a good advatange for Kakashi.

I see your point. I have put a scenario in my head where Minato and Team 7 knows that Kakashi & Obito died.

That's just his chakra though, his body must be dust after everything he's been through with the tailed beasts and Obito. Emotionally and physically he has to be exhausted whilst Obito has mostly just stood still the whole fight. Plus it's still entirely possible that Kakashi's face that he was planning a suicide kamikaze attack as a last ditch in that panel (I still totally believe this)

So they just teleported there for fun? That's why Kishi made such a big deal out of it? Pfft yeah ok they'll just warp there and then awkwardly warp back at the beginning of the next chapter ok
