Out of all the pairings in the manga, it seems that shikamaru's pairing is actually the hardest one to conclude. He has close relationships with at least three girls. Who do you think is the most likely pairing.
Temari
Always seen with shikamaru, and they always are discussing the roles of men and women together. She fits shikamaru's profile of the woman he wants to marry (average looks). It would seem the plot is pushing these two together.
Ino
She has known shikamaru the longest, and at first had a bad impression of him, but as the series progressed has gotten to respect him and knows how intelligent and useful he is. Like their fathers, they get along really well.
Shiho
The only one out of the three who actually has romantic feelings for shikamaru. She also is a good match since they are both incredibly intelligent.
I think Temari. Shiho is too much of a side character and hasn't made an appearance for more than 100 chapters. I think Ino is going to end up with chouji.
