[Discussion] who will kill akainu?

I'm sure most people would feel that Luffy will do it or he should have the chance to. I personally believe one of Luffy's allies will do it to prove their power and loyalty to Luffy. Luffy will focus on Kong or somebody with a higher rank/power than Akainu while he leaves his nakama to Akainu. I think it will either be Zoro, Coby, or Law to kill him. Zoro will do it to show Luffy his power, to avenge his loss, and show how close he and Luffy are. Coby might do it because he doesn't like the way Akainu rules the marines, Coby has left to join Luffy, or to protect Luffy. Law might do it to prove to the world that he powerful and that he and Luffy have become like Shanks and Whitebeard. They are captains of different ships but have great respect for each other and will back each other up

Most def. luffy or garp. They're the only ones who doing so would have as much of an impact. It would be closure for them, whereas if a comrade did it, it just wouldn't feel the same

I can say for sure, that Luffy isn't the type of avenger. Ace's death was his choice. Defending and\or defeating an enemy for a strong reason like protecting nakama is what makes Luffy strong. He saved Ace, but Ace chose death.

Garp kills Akainu very soon.
Later he is killed by Blackbeard when Garp tells him not to lay a hand on Luffy. They fight.

First, Akainu killed Ace and he was the one who made the scarf in luffy's chest.. which for me that scarf means "we have some buisness that we need to finish in the future" not to mentioned what would luffy feel if Sanji or Zoro killed akainu? just try to act like luffy for a moment, youll know what im saying...
