[Discussion] Who will join the strawhats [Dressrosa Arc]

Nami-Orange
Usopp-Yellow
Sanji-Blue
Chopper-Pink
Robin-Violet
Franky-Cyan
Brooke-Black n' White9(Its really black but he is also wearing white along with it so...)

But Luffy has blue shorts. Usopp has nothing yellow on him except post time skip. Only a minor part of sanji costume has ever been blue. Chopper used to have a pinkish hat but now its majorly baby blue. Robin's make sense. And only franky's hair is cyan from pre ts and even post ts he still is a large part red. brooke makes sense. There isnt enough evidence to make those claims except for zoro, brooke, nami and robin, the rest are more than those colors and also change outfits too often to be associated with one.

Now in the SBS that is what Oda said, but as you can see, the colors he said for each of those characters isnt actually strongly related to them, so a color scheme could be made for someone like bartolomeo. Maroon is more strongly associated with him than blue for sanji.

The SHs are still associated with the colors I mentioned. Even in color spreads and the 15 Anniversary celebration, the SHs were portrayed by that color scheme.

The SHs are still associated with the colors I mentioned. Even in color spreads and the 15 Anniversary celebration, the SHs were portrayed by that color scheme.

Dont dodge my point. An opening from the anime based on what oda has said is the only visual clue linking most of them. My point was that the majority of the SH's dont have much that associate them with that color other than odas word, so to say the someone like barto has no color scheme is baseless. Especially when barto has a stronger color association with maroon than sanji does with blue.

Edit: I suppose a better example would be that brook, zoro, and robin only have clothes of their color. they dont have anything like all blue, or tangerines, or the cherry blossom, they only have clothes. barto has maroon clothes and for all we know he has a backstory that can give him a color scheme. We simply dont know enough for you to write them off due to a lack of a color scheme.

Dont get me wrong, i doubt anyone will join the crew in dressrosa, but I don't think you can write people off because they dont have a color scheme or havent been foreshadowed.

But how many times has sanji been drawn with blue, like i think 3 arcs or so, he frequently wears a yellow shirt too. I don't think it is just clothing based either. But usopp for instance has only been wearing yellow since post ts, so I think backstories could potentially be written for any one of these dresrosa "candidates" that give them a more defined color that may be different than what they are usually seen wearing. Also costume changes can be made similar to usopps.

Alot of characters have showed their resolve in 2 or 3 chapters and are still in Grand Line. The SHs will 4 more members(Jinbe, Tashigi, Elbaf Warrior and Smoker) and the rest will just be allies like Bartolomeo and Bellamy. As I said before, no one has had any foreshadowing in Dresssrosa(minus Viola and Kyros).

Oda is a master of foreshadowing and has had a SH recruitment pattern for the longest time and has said the entire series is already planned out. Don't see Oda changing such an important pattern just because the SHs are in the NW.

Now then we have to wait & see.

Thats exactly the point im making. So you say that Violet, or bellamy or rebecca dont have color schemes or have one that is taken, but then you say the SH's dont have to be wearing that color for it to be their scheme. Well the same applies to these "potential new SH's" I would hardly say any of them are ever in your face except zoro's. Im trying to tell you that a color scheme can be made for any character even if it isnt immediately evident because the color schemes of the majority of the Sh's arent evident unless you look at all the colorings they have been in. The potential Sh's we are talking about dont have enough color pages or backstory to give a scheme yet, and neither did many of the SH's until later. i mean look at Nami, all she had was her hair up until 2 arcs later we get her back story with the tangerines.

I get your point. The colors characters wear now can change later on and that new color can be their real color scheme. Its like Usopp who's primary color(the one that represents the character) is yellow but he wears brown most of the time. Sanji is blue but he mostly wears black. Zoro is easier to tell because he is always wearing that green sash.

I said before that I was mistaken with Bartolomeo as I thought it was green/violet/black which was taken but its actually maroon which is completely different. Bellamy however has always been wearing pink n' blue which has been his primary color for a while and like I said, Sanji and Chopper has those colors and we don't know if Bellamy's color will change. Anyways like you are trying to say, its probably too soon to tell.
