She's not useless per se, she is like every healer/support in MMORPG's (expect WoW, this *****es be trippin), can get one shot by pretty much everyone, but damn, that heal though!

But she can regenerate now, and has strong offensive powers.

Please, DBZ was named DBZ to leave out such things as main character, once Vegeta arrived one can argue that he was main character, since in the end he was better than Goku, but the fact is, both were main characters. In case of Naruto, manga is called Naruto, most chapters revolve around Naruto, it was told that he is the embodiment of Asura, and who won the fight, Asura or Indra? Besides Sasuke is just as self-centered as Madara and will go evil once again.

DBZ's main character as Goku if memory serves me right. However he got fodderized by Cell juniors, while Gohan raped Perfect Cell.

Because the show is Called Dragon Ball Z, it's about Dragon Balls and Z fighters, Gohan is a Z fighter, so it's logical

This show is Called Naruto, so Naruto as the main character will be the one to end the war, so as he ended Pain and etc.
