[Discussion] Who will get 3,4,7,8,and 9th squad

If the Gotei 13 survive this war they're gonna need 5 new captains because:

Squad 3= Dead
Squad 4= Dead
Squad 7= Is a pet
Squad 8= Promoted
Squad 9= Dead

Now assuming that none of them will be magically brought back to life thats five empty captains positions. Those eligible for promotion/reinstatement are:

Kisuke Urahara
Yoruichi Shihoin
Isshin Kurosaki
Love Aikawa
Tessai
Renji Abarai
Rukia Kuchiki
Maybe Ichigo?
Ikkaku Madarame (Technically)
Hisagi Shuhei (if his training was successful)

If that is the case that would be interesting.

But I doubt that there would be no sort of hierarchy even if they aren't the Gotei 13 in name they would still perform the duties of the Gotei 13.

I really dont know, I think he was alive when he defeated Cang-du, and Zombie girl/boy remarked how it was easier to zombify shinigami whether they were alive or dead.

That's what I said. They will be balancer just like they were before Gotei 13. Killing Hollows, Soul burial...

I know what you said, but since you didn't answer the original question as to who would be made a captain I presumed that you did not believe that there would be any sort of hierarchy within the reformed balancers.

I said that since they would still be performing the same duties as the Gotei 13 I would also assume that there would still be some form of chain of command. Captains, lieutenants, seated officers etc.

So with the questioned clarified do you believe that any of the captain level individuals remaining will be given positions of authority within the reformed balancers?

I only believe that there will be Captain Commander, but Captains and etc ranks will not exist.

There are 5 Vaccant position of captain currently and probably that number will raise, Hitsugaya is probably dead, Mayuri (be real after all he done to Quincies he need to die), Ukitake (don't know why but I think this guy will be dead by the end) and considering how Kubo threat Vizards, Shinji could also be dead.

But from other positions we only have 2 Captain level fighters (Rukia and Renji) and maybe, but that's big MAYBE Hisagi. If Gotei continue to exist as it is know, it will need "500" years to reform again. They needed quite a time to replace just 6 captains they lost in TBTP arc, not to mention that at that time they already had promising members and a lot of soldiers who could potentially grow to the level of captain, currently mostly of shinigami has been killed in the action.
