The Kages got their ass handed to them.

So all we're left with is Madara. It's easy to assume Sasuke will land the critical blow, but there is a good chance it will be someone in the Gokage.

Look at Gaara for example -- he did a decent job against Madara even though he is no match. This could be Kishimoto foreshadowing that the Gokage is about to get their revenge.

Yeah , there has to be a reason why the Gokage are still there , who knows what they might do or if they will try to go against Madara once more , but i think this is more of Sauske's fight right now , specially if Naruto will be down for a while & i really hope he stays down for a while .

It's obvious Sasuke and Naruto together will get the blow. Sasuke makes the final blow possible and Naruto does it. That always happens.

Obito will do something to weaken/mess up Madara's progress (to redeem himself then die), a group attack/effort from the Bijuu's/Gokage's/Hokage's then Naruto lands the final blow while screaming something at Madara. the end

I think this is a golden opportunity for a lot of characters to show us something new to be honest with Naruto's death and they're rage.

Then at the end Naruto appears as a ghost like figure (like Itachi with Sasuke) and he smiles at Sasuke and whispers like he did in Bonds movie then it goes off.

Squeal my ***** starting off with Sasuke learning what Naruto said...also Sasuke will have one eye and zetus arm.

P.S Naruto isn't dead yet...Sasuke will try and find a way to meet him again hanging with Orochimaru...he already tried but he lost his arm *Hint of an anime you know anyone *

I'm rooting for the gokage, simply because I want to squeeze every last bit of feats I can out of them. It could very well be that they learned something about Madara before they got stomped, maybe what happened to them and knowledge about it will help out in some way since that is kind of a mystery right now.
