Yes through the use of Katsuyuu, so the slug done most of the work, and thank god she got that information around, otherwise Pain would have just been running around killing people... wait a minute that happened anyway, she could have saved a lot more lives if she had faced Pain face on and held him off till naruto got there, and she only chose to fight when pain found her and it was her life on the line,

Yeah, because Tsunade would have been able to hold off Pain. If she faced him one on one, all that would have done was get her killed even quicker, people would have died even faster, and the people who were dieing wouldn't even be getting healed, because Tsunade went to go fight Pain instead of healing them, and died in the process. So, then Naruto arrives from Mt. Myoboku and sees everyone dead, after Pain's massive Shinra Tensei that wiped out the whole village and since Tsunade hasn't summoned Katsuyuu to heal everyone or get intel across the village that eventually helped Naruto win his battle, those people still alive after Pain massacre but before his Shinra Tensei, would have been wiped out along with the village because there was no Katsuyuu to protect them from the Shinra Tensei.

Tsunade, basically put her life on the line by just healing the people of the village, by using up most of her chakra, so even before Pain got there, she was sacrificing herself to save the village.

Well she hasn't exactly proven herself to be a extremely elite ninja has she, She kept up with orochimaru, who had no arms, and kabuto, and she had the help of a drugged Jiraiya, She didn't do anything against Pain except heal loads of ninja which was pretty useless as he killed majority of them with that Huge technique (forget the Name), Any of the other Hokage would have faced Pain one on one straight out (Sorta like Naruto Did!)

First sentence: So having lots of reputations, surviving previous wars, given the name of Sannin, regarded as the best medical ninja and being the a Kage/Hokage for that matter isn't a proof that she definitely is an elite ninja? You got to be kidding me!

The three Sannins were all handicapped that time for all you know dear. So you might want to say that Orochimaru also had helped from his assistant and would've have got owned if it wasn't because of Kabuto.

She didn't do anything, so what do you call healing? Isn't it a form of action? Haha. So Pain killed majority of the villagers after Shinra Tensei? Actually, FYI, many survived after ST thanks to Tsunade's Katsuyu covering all the people, therefore her acts wasn't useless!

Whoooah, faced pain one on one? Could any of the previous Hokages can kill/seal all the bodies(paths) that fast who are roaming around the villages plus Konan which are all powerful in their own right? Deva Path is in the air and could have used ST while the Hokage/s is fighting thus the result is to have more casualties.

Remember Tsunade is the Hokage who is incommand on everything. (Intel Gathering, Coordinating, Etc.) She knows that Jiraiya died, so don't tell me it would be wise to go out and rush to fight Pain when she knew a person on her level got killed by that person invading the village. Plus, a village is her responsibility so the life is more important than anything else!

You really are cute with that kind of attitude of not analyzing things on a deeper note. Yes her slug did most of the work, HER SLUG! Remember that animal summonings are part of a ninja's ninjutsu arsenal. So you saying that Katsuyu doing most of the work is just like saying Tsunade did most of the work. Tsunade was channeling her healing chakra to heal and protect everyone including her seal on the forehead.

*Don't tell me this that when Naruto fights, his clone gets most of the work done. Hahaha. Also same case with Jiraiya, his toads get the most of the work done or with Kabuto, his edo's get most of the work done or Gaara, his sand get most of the work done. Did you get it now?

Faced Pain? You mean which body should she have faced coz there are six plus Konan. If you were referring to Deva Path, well She could have faced him, but the other paths and Konan would just continue to destroy Konoha without Tsunade healing, meaning many dies.

She chose to fight Pain when after all of the possible strategy to defeat Pain have been exhausted. It's logical as the Hokage is the last line of defense.
