Who were the Big Ninja around in the 2nd Shinobi War?

So Hanzo and Hiruzen are the strongest 2 ninja of this generation, by a longshot and we know the young Sannin were around as well.

But who were the Kage at this time period? Any other significants? Sakumo Hatake (i think?)

Nope, that was a mistake in the anime. They fought in the 2nd not 3rd.

Does that check out timeline-wise? Because Mu and Trollkage killed each other right? And they're both pretty young.

Well, as we know, Hiruzen was the Hokage at that time. Ōnoki most likely was the Tsuchikage and A's father the Raikage. The Kazekage should have been the Second or the Third Kazekage, they could have changed during the war. And the Mizukage could have been Third, but same as the Kazekages, he could have changed.

Other notable Ninja were, as you said Sakumo, Chiyo, Mifune, Dan, Nagato, Mito should have still been alive. . . B's cousin, the previous Jinchūriki of Gyūki. . . :yeah:
