A nice fresh take on the legend of Dracula. The effects were pretty good, the fight scenes were also cool. Though there were a couple Batman Begins-esque scenes where I couldn't tell what was going on. It turns Dracula from an evil, blood-draining creature into a misunderstood and tragic man who gave up his human life and family. It was pretty entertaining. Ending was also really good. One thing I didn't like though, was that he didn't become the Dracula we all know (vile, manipulative, evil in general) by the end of the movie. I wanted to see that transition from human to vampire. Not just in looks and behaviour, but in personality as well.

3/10. It's a crappy origin Dracula story and it has so many inconsistencies in the plot it's sad, but if you don't care about shitty plot and want to just see vampire action then go ahead I guess.
