Who was theh most hyped shinobi

• Though he proved in later flashbacks that he was worthy of being Hokage

Hashirama: Somewhere in the manga it mentions Hashi beat Madara, and all the fanboys explode, no feats.

• Later we see his true powers and abilities

Tobi: Takes on some fodder shinobi with kamui= instant solo king

• Later has rinnegan and 6 paths

What are some other Ninja that are overhyped, or some that have overcame hype with feats?

Yeah I definitely gotta go with Hiruzen Sarutobi on this one. I like the third Hokage a lot, but his hype that came from "Beating" Hashirama and Tobirama when orochimaru first raised them in Naruto Part 1 with a pair of paper bombs made lots of people think he was the most powerful, perhaps for his time, but i was always a strong believer that he was beneath the 1st and 2nd hokage.
