OT:Those who delt with Kyuubi in past are super famous and only 3 guys in history(exept Naruto) pulled this feat they are Madara,Hashirama and Minato.

Pain. He leveled the leaf village, and word like that gets around very fast. No doubt Madara was well known, but he hadn't done anything as big as Pain, and no one really cared about him until the start of the war. He was just an old legend.
