Who was Orochimaru talking to??

Kabuto for sure. Simply because he probably liked seeing him all beefed up! because when Kabuto was his assistant, he didnt have a crazy sage mode and all that.

But he could as easily been talking about how sasuke's motives changed.

It could very well possibly be both kabuto, and sasuke. but if i were to say a name, it would be that he was talking to sasuke. he looked away from kabuto. Go to page 15 of 593 and you will see it.
