Who was in the 3rd coffin Orochimaru summoned?

I've got a quick question,during episode 69 in the battle of Orochimaru vs the third , Oro used Edo tensei to revive both the 1st and the 2nd but his initial plan was to revive 3 people although he failed cuz Hiruzen stoped him. Im wondering if the 3rd coffin could be the 4th since if im not mistaken the sign on the coffin is 4 in kanji *as the 2nd came out of the coffin with a 2 in kanji*, but I thought he couldnt be summoned over all the Kyuubi dreal?

there have been numerous threads on this topic..but basicali as far as we can tell it is suppose to be 4th hokage, but it didn work since 4th's soul is sealed in the demon god (oro wasnt aware of this) hence why it didn't work

You don't need the soul when you resurrect, they mindless. If you're talking about the fight between the 3rd and Orochimaru when you said "it didn't work", then the reason is not because the soul wasn't there, remember the 3rd did something so that the coffin wouldn't be summoned.

in the last coffin was the fourth hokage.

the 3rd (i believe) threw a barrage of shuriken which was only able to keep the 4th hokage sealed and not being brought back to life.

(his coffin was sealed shut)

It seems more likely that it was the 4th Hokage.
But at this time in the story, the creator of Naruto, had not thought about the rules for the revive jutsu.
And it is likely a mistake in the story...

on the conditions section its is written that those who used death reaper seal cannot be resurrected .since minato used death reaper seal to seal the kyubi inside naruto and his soul is inside the death god's belly , it is sure that it waasnt minato but someone else whom even madara/tobi feared.

Actually it was the 4th, but not Minato
But the 4th Kazekage had to be it, since he died recently after Orochimarus surprise attack

And that being said he would have his DNA

It couldnt be Minato cause of the dead demon seal

... Kabuto said that Orochimaru tried to summon the 4th HOKAGE with that coffin. But the second half of your post was right it didn't work because of the DDS.

It was minato he wanted to summon but it didn't work cause he was sealed, hiruzen wasn't the one who stopped him
