Isn't the anime based on the Manga's story line?:| So, yes....and who said Sasuke was good? people seem be getting things twisted....can't people see he's using the Hokages and Shinobi Alliance to take down his bigger treats(Madara and the Juubi) and then stabbing them in back when they're finish.

POTENTIAL SPOILER IF YOU AREN'T UP TO DATE WITH THE MANGA...PLEASE BEWARE SPOILERS AHEAD.....
Sasuke isn't good in the manga either. While it looked that way from chapter 627-633, chapters 634 and 635 kinda proved he isn't "good old sasuke again". He is shady, while him wanting to be hokage would appear to be a good sign, he is doing things his way. So getting the village's vote of confidence would not be how he would do it," he said he would be hokage and that he didn't care what they others though of him"...weird.
Then he wants to burn the juubi while the other biju are inside..."Burn" "Unaceptable, let it burn". And then he said he wants to change the old dated system and create a new one...but the mystery is what this "new" system will be like. I never saw sasuke becoming "good", he was so determined about what he wanted ever since he learned about itachi, that one convo with hashirama wouldn't change that. He isn't necessarily "evil" per say, like obito and madara, but we don't fully know what he is planning, only that he is too freaking shady and not to mention unstable to be trusted. He isn't with the allies, nor is he with madara and obit...just what are his intentions? We only know that he wants to get revenge for itachi, change the corrupted shionobi world, destroy the biju by burning them...sadistic much, and he wants to revive his clan.
I have no idea what will happen with sasuke, but i don't see him joining the alliance for the right reason; but mainly waiting for the opportune moment to strike. Then what he really wants will be known...but the obvious thing is that he cannot be trusted. Sai, Jugo, Sakura, Shikamaru, Naruto, and probably hashirama noticed that. In the latest chapter sai tells sakura that sasuke isn't an ally and not to be trusted, she tries to say she trusts sasuke but her smile was fake. Naruto can sense malice so i'm sure he noticed. And there is the whole look he gave sasuke "the whole look he had when sasuke wanted to burn the buju, and his "oi sasuke" look kinda goes to show that he noticed something. And jugo has no idea what sasuke's planning, and even hashirama looked concerned.
Overall i don't think sasuke is good, i do want him good but not until naruto beats him and they have their fight and then some stuff can happen. But i want naruto vs sasuke that isn't a friendly match, and i want naruto to win and i want him to be the one to stop this crazed sasuke. itachi hinted at it, that naruto is the only one who can deal with sasuke now...so here's to hoping. But it looks like they are going to fight over destroying and saving the biju how dull...sigh.

He will be good in the anime since in the manga he has already turned "good" but it probably be another year and a half before that it happens in the anime.
