Who to Blame.

Did anyone else think that the reason Itachi became a rogue ninja was because he killed his clan? Well, when I first got into the Naruto series I did! And I was just thinking, when I read this week's chapter (590), what if Itachi didn't get discovered by Sasuke (or if Itachi didn't appear before Sasuke) and ran home free, who would the Leaf Village blame the Uchiha massacre on? As I was saying, just a thought! :shrug:

he means who would they of THOUGHT it was. but i guess they wouldn't of found itachi's body and assumed ?

Idiots! I'm saying if Sasuke were to ask the council, or Itachi, about who massacred the Uchiha clan! What would their excuse be? Who would they blame? And I did mention that I read chapter 590, did I not?

yeah good point i guess. idk maybe they would just blame itachi? cuz obviously if he went that extent he wouldn't admit to doing it afterwards which would defeat the whole purpose.

But obviously the council didn't want Sasuke to take revenge on the Leaf Village and Danzou didn't want any of the Uchiha knowing that Itachi was a double-agent, or knowing that Itachi was gonna massacre them.

Well they were all dead so who cares? They weren't really scared of sasuke as a kid, he couldn't do anything about it. And they could just deny all claims about itachi. If some maniac destroys his own clan and than claims that the village told him to do this because of a conspiracy and between he loves his brother and clan...... people will just think he is nuts.
