I read the manga too but it just can't compare to:

RUN DANZO RUN.

The soundtrack and voices of both series barring Naruto's voice trump the manga in my opinion, a lot of the time since it's just black and white you can't really make out what's even happening in the manga too so you have to wait for someone else to explain why it's cool which kinda ruins the epicness of scenes.

Also Pains theme ftw.

Live action always beats reading in my opinion. (if you are talking about canon portions of course)

depends on the animations. lately, I find the manga more interesting. I just skip every naruto episode including the non-fillers.
Boring fights, everything's so simplified. yowYawn.

Hahaha pretty much! I like both. The anime is supossed to bolster the manga and explain possible oddities the manga can have (exact movements in a fight). Also some of the ways they extend some of the scenes was great. I believe Sasuke v. Danzo added some awesome jutsu, and the Hinata v. Pain was more dramatic at the end!

I take the manga more seriously but i like to see the manga translate into animation as well

If the anime were up to date with the manga, I would probably watch it instead of reading it, but since it's not, I don't watch Naruto anymore, I just read it.

It varies. There are times the adaptation expands certain points of the manga in a way it makes them much more interesting than the canon material, but there also these times when they screw up so badly you wish they just let it like it was.

I honestly prefer the manga. I'd rather read it, then watch it.

It really depends on the scene.
