Sasuke had the worst life. Itachi didn't suffer sh*t. He made his little brother suffer and took his innocence away by killing everyone he loved. Itachi was selfish and had no balls.

So I always see people say, how Itachi and Kakashi suffered the most.

Sure Madara in the end became evil, corrupt and power hungry.
However, in my opinion, Madara had possibly the worst life. I mean all of his family died when he was young, his clan began to cast him outside, and he spent most of his life hiding in a cave planning a world of dreams because he couldn't stand the reality he was living in. And all of those years of planning just to get betrayed by black zetsu, although he kind of deserved that one.

Sounds quite sad, when I think about it.

Kakashi's family also died when he was young. He was known as the son of the shamed father. Kakashi spent most of his life learning to live with the constant reminder of his best friend's death, later to find out he is evil, and the killing of Rin. He failed what he promised his best friend. Madara turning to the dark side is not a bad life. It's the life of someone who took the easy way out.
