Welcome to NB! I am not sure if my theory has been disproved but I still think he is obito, or Obito has something to do with it because the time line matches up. Also Tobi's sharingan messed with the dimensions and time/space creating portals. Kakashi's MS creates portals to another dimension, both powers are linked and make sense if you ask me!

If you still think obito is tobi you need to eat a jar of cinnamon right away , we see when tobi fights the 4th hokage he is and adult we see a teenage kakashi being told to stay back and let the elders deal with the 9 tails attack Obito and kakashi where the same age Tobi is and adult , we also have seen that he has wrinkles when he nearly took of his mask Kakshis Ms has nothing to do with it because anyone can obtain it if they can controll there chackra and have already achieved Ms as according to the Official Naruto wiki
