Who suffered more, Naruto or Sasuke?

Naruto had no choice in his situation, he was shunned for being the jinchuuriki, left as an outsider.
Sasuke had no choice over his fam being slaughtered, but he was accepted openly and was even popular in school etc.

Sasuke CHOSE to go to orochimaru, CHOSE to leave the village, CHOSE to become a rogue ninja and CHOSE to hate the leaf.
Naruto CHOSE Jiraiya, CHOSE to train outside of the village,
CHOSE to train to be hokage.

Personally, Sasuke has consciously experienced more pain and suffering (being aware of his parents dying etc.)
but naruto lived his entire life as an outsider, and suffers now for the entire ninja world.
Without a doubt naruto has suffered more.

it wasn about the wrong choices but it was about suffering and yea in my opinion sasuke suffered more then naruto . But they both suffered alot.

They both suffered only naruto took his pain and suffering and used it as fuel to become not only a better shinobi but a better person. Sasuke also used his pain to become a better shinobi but on the other hand is very weak minded and let hate overcome him.

Sasuke. Naruto stopped suffering a long time ago when he accepted love and gave all his hatred away. FYI

Honestly I think Naruto at first but now that i think of it, both have had it crazily rough. Sauske had his entire clan killed but it was his choice to continue with hatred. He could have had friends. Naruto was left alone with no parents at a young age and had kurama the demon fox inside of him leaving him with no one but 3 friends who he could barely see until he got older and found Iruca Sensei and many others

Sasuke did suffer alot during his childhood and naruto did as well but sasuke lost his parents and was alone, but naruto was alone from the start. It was better for sasuke because he was top of all his classes and he had just about every girl after him, naruto had none of that, he was the very opposite of sasuke. So they suffered pretty equally during their childhood. I do think that sasuke is suffering more now because of his hatred and his need for a vendetta, and naruto is doing the best because he is growing tremendously and he is renowned by the village and has many friends.

Pure suffering due to circumstance, Naruto because being hated is the worst. Self-inflicted suffering, Sasuke because he refuses to let go of his hate. Im going to have to say Naruto for this one

Also, Sasuke, a little after the chuunin exams, felt that naruto was growing stronger and became discouraged (of course, naruto, on the other hand, thought that it was sasuke that was stronger).

Sasuke later descovered the truth about his clan and why they were killed which made him break down mentally even further. He continues to suffer under hatred and lust for revenge while naruto has become happy and determind to change others. his suffering has mostly ended. he even got to meet his parents. Sasuke hhad no chsnce to say good bye.

Sasuke suffered more and for a longer period of time...it just irritates me how people realize this but still hate Sasuke...they don't understand his motives and his suffering...just thought i'd point that out...

i believe naruto suffered the most with childhoods but Sasuke takes the cake now... Especially him killing his brother then finding out his brother wasn't evil at all. But Naruto is still suffering because he wants Sasuke to stop going down the wrong road and he feels its his fault because he couldn't bring him back. of course! This is one of my most passionate topics when disscussing the Naruto series. I felt that i needed a full explanation rather than just saying the name of the person who i think suffered most.

Just because you're an outcast doesn't mean you've suffered. Last time I checked Naruto made alot of friends. Sasuke lost his whole clan. His brother then mind rapes him at every encounter they have plus traumatized him and even told him to hate and live for revenge .It's like a guy having a penis and then someone cuts it off and then to add insult to injury, they cut your balls off too. Now you have no future to make kids. Sasuke has suffered more.

Sasuke.
Why? Naruto didn't have anything from the beginning, so he couldn't really understand Sasuke.
Sasuke had his parents from the beginning and he saw them DEAD, killed by Itachi.
Naruto didn't know them, but he didn't have an easy life too, but Sasuke suffered more. IMO.

There are many arguements why its Sasuke (and ive made a few in this post lol) But someone gave the simplest answer:

Suffering is a state of mind, Naruto never let it get him down while Sasuke did and has suffered considerably.

Therefore the answer is still Sasuke!
