Who suffered more, Naruto or Sasuke?

While they have both suffered more than any individual should have to, I'd say Naruto has gotten the worst of it.

Sasuke was loved by his family and clan, his life was pretty darn fine until Itachi messed it up. Yes, that was horrible, Itachi went way too far with his super eyes and so on, but I can't help but feel that much of Sasuke's suffering is self-inflicted. He shut himself off from the world, even though his teachers praised him and his classmates fawned over him. He STILL decided to leave th village in search of power. Didn't he even admit himself that he was starting to let go of his hatred after spending so much time with Naruto and Sakura?

Naruto, on the other hand, was always hated by those around him and he didn't even know why. He basically had no idea what love was, but he still pursued respect - and he earned it. Then, of course, his best friend leaves after almost having killed him, which has to count for something.

Just my opinion on this.

They had different experiences, but more or less along the same line. I think Sasuke had a slightly more painful childhood than Naruto though.

Sasuke had a family, true, but it would be better not to have a family at all than to have your family killed off by your own brother. This is the main reason why i think Sasuke had a more painful childhood than Naruto. Sure, Sasuke was pretty much liked by everyone in the village, and Naruto was treated as a monster, but Naruto was accepted anyways.

Naruto never had a family, this is also extremely harsh, but not as harsh as having seen your clan's murder, by the hands of your own brother. the man reason why I think Sasuke might have a slightly more painful childhood than Naruto was because Sasuke was mind****ed at such a young age, and he was traumatized. Still though, being treated as an outcast and a monster for years would have left a big, painful hole in your life.

The only reason that I think Sasuke had a more painful childhood than Naruto is because he was mind****ed. Apart from that, they more or less had the same pain of being alone. At least Naruto never saw how his parents died, right?

Naruto because Sasuke got all the attention from the teachers, girls, etc during his younger years. All Naruto got was a scolding and a bunch of hateful remarks from the villagers.

Clearly naruto suffered more, he had no family, no one wanted to be his friend, everyone hated him cause of the kyuubi, in school he was scorned as a fool, unlike sasuke whom everyone wanted as a friend, whom all the girls liked. If sasuke was alone its cos he wanted to be.

naruto never ever feel the pain of lossing some1 important.. thats y he freeze when they fought in the valley of end when sasuke talked about the bond topic s***.. he knows little about lossing sum1 because in the 1st place he has nothing and no one, no connection at all at that time, while sasuke has evrything and has taken away just like that..He only felt that pain when his master jiraiya died and honestly told the PAIN about it personaly..
The real difference is the BOND that was created and was taken.. naruto has no bounds and wat so wat ever..

Naruto did not have friends to play with everyone in the town hated him and told their children to stay away from him. Go reread and rewatch the anime before you talk. He gained friends if you want to call them that, way later in the series. As he grew up he was alone. Sasuke suffered yes but chose to give into his hate and there for is a victim of his own choosing. Also when you bother to edit your posting at least fix the typo's.
