Who suffered more, Naruto or Sasuke?

IMO , they both suffered but in different ways.
sasuke lost hes parents and knows that it was his brother.
naruto never had parents basicly and mostly everybody didnt like him.

It's clearly Sasuke. Naruto had no one so he suffered in the short term but he was able to see his parents and talk to them and let them see his progress. Sasuke lost his whole clan by the person he admired most in the world. Plus he finally defeats Itachi only to learn that it was the village who forced Itachi to do it in the first place. Put it like this : Naruto only gained in the manga while Sasuke continually lost things in the manga.

Naruto struggled sasuke suffered because of the ties he had he say at the final valley naruto he was just alone and treated like shit sasuke on the other hand clan was murdered by his closest relative and having to killl him which story seem more ****ed up u tell me.ps:all tailed beast were treated like that

This is as clear as water. Sasuke had everything he could ever want even though he would later lose it. He had loving parents and the brother everyone could wish to have, that protected him from absolutely everything.

Even though he only had it for a limited amount of time, he still knows what it feels like to have people around you that care about you, that love you, that counts for something.

While Naruto had basically 1 person ( Iruka) who cared about him but thats it, it was only 1 person and everyone else feared and hated him because of the 9 tails he was being left alone as a child with no one to talk with or play with. Never knew about his parents until he was older, never had any real friend.

Naruto suffered way more, it cannot be any more clearer.

Sasuke has suffered more in the sense of loss because he had a family and he had to go through the hell of losing it and while Naruto, although he had to suffer the pain of being an outcast for an unknown reason (until it is revealed to him), he didn't have a family to begin with so he doesn't know the pain of loss in that sense. However, Sasuke was an alpha male. The girls thought he was cute and he was extremely talented because he was born with the Sharingan. An argument can be made for Naruto being born with the Kyuubi but it was always more of a curse and he had to go through intense training to master it and Naruto always had to try harder because he never was exceptionally good at any one thing except having a abnormally large chakra reserve. It was also hard on Naruto seeing happy families and never knowing what it must be like. But Naruto OVERCOMES these hardships by meeting Iruka and having an extremely positive attitude and being an extrovert and extremely sociable (that can be argued lol). Sasuke became negative and obsessed with revenge instead of taking the higher ground that Naruto took. In the end, Sasuke has suffered more but it is his own doing.

Both for sure i mean sasuke had his WHOLE clan killed(expect for his brother) and always hated his brother and only wanted revenge for 16 years but naruto never knew his parents until he was like 16 and every villager hated him (expect for the some jounins and the 3rd hokage)

I think its equal, cuz Naruto didn't have anything good going on for him but for Sasuke he had all the girls etc but Sasuke witnessed the murdering of his parents, I'm pretty sure that's freaking SHOCKING and traumatizes you for life.

So I think its equal, this is the point of the show, same suffering and two different choices, to show the outcomes of the paths you could choose in life.

sasuke come on he went through what haku did watching someone you love kill your loved ones and worse he showed him it over and over again. Naruto as sasuke rightly said had nothing from the start and didn't know what it was like to lose someone you love much like what gaara, sasuke, haku and even sai did, hell sasori did too and oro.
The worse thing is he was mind fed because of it and saw that the world he lived in was a lie. So yea he suffered more mentally and physically

Naruto suffered more but turned it into strength, sasuke chose to hate everyone and everything. He was lied to and deceived until the very end. Naruto never had anyone or anything. Nobody truly loved him until he made them love him. They both suffered equally.

Sasuke why? Naruto really didnt know much about his beast and father and didnt think much of it until jariyai i know spelling. While sasuke was used to having a mom and dad all his life then seeing them killed by his beloved brother petrified him then after finding out about itachis true intentions felt like a ******* for hating him most of his life.

well this is irrelvant, but i say sauske cause he had a family and his older brother killed his own clan. and sauske forever was alone and had to suffer losing his family and clan. and to live life with revenge on his shoulders. naruto on the other hand was alone sense the day he was born (well not that minato and kushina were there when he was born) but yeah.


but most of all sauske, cause naruto never knew of his dad or mom tell he was 16. while sauske was in the darkness longer than naruto

Sasuke imo. It's harder to bear tragedy when you're at a younger age.
Which is why Itachi killing the clan was harder on Sasuke than Naruto having Jiraya die. Of course, this is just my opinion >.>

*You really can't compare suffering on two people mental state (only by logic). Some people do suicide after they dog dies, some get over family loose pretty damn fast.

Well in the end, Sasuke tries to murder his comrades, just like his family was murdered. Sasuke has still been suffering because of hate, Naruto has still been suffering because of his bonds with his friends. (he cried for Gaara right?) But it is still tough to choose which one has suffered the most. They both suffered and I do not know how to compare who suffered more.

But I still think it seems like Gaara has suffered the most by far.

i think sasuke..... He witnessed his brother kill his mom and dad. And his entire clan was wiped out.This happened at an age were it would have left almost anyone insane .He fought through hardships to avenge his clan and bore revenge and hatred all his life.when he finally kills his brother, he finds out the truth about him. either itachi was going to kill the clan or the leaf itself was going to do it. Imagine how he must of felt knowing what his brother had probably had to go through and everything he did just to protect sasuke and in the end sasuke was the one to kill him. I think only someone who has brother/sister they love could understand that kind of pain.

oh and btw it is scientifically proven that the most pain a human can possibly feel is the loss of someone they truly loved.

Sasuke had to bear this more than once.I think i would do the same as he's doing now.

i understand why he wants to destroy the leaf.
