Who suffered more, Naruto or Sasuke?

To be honest that´s a hard question.
Frst of all to witness such tragedy at a young age might have different effects on you. Sasuke never dealed with ithe got lost in his hatred. But he once had something.
Naruto on the other hand had nothing to begin with. As someone who has been alone for a very long time i know how that feels. They main difference is that naruto tried to deal with it and at least got rid of his hatred.

For the suffering it is hard to say. But since sasuke still can´t let go, i go with him because he still suffers. He suffered from nearly every decision he made.

Sasuke is a bitch. He tryin to blame the leaf village for his clan's death when it was his own that held the sword. Itachi was given an ultimatum. You either kill them yourself or we will. Nobody forced itachi to do what he did. It was a hard choice yes but it was still a choice. My lil cousins lost their mother, my aunt when they were young in a tragic accident more or less caused by their father. Its almost similar but you dont see them pledgin vengeance or crap like that. Sasuke shud just suck it up cause atleast he had parents to lose. Atleast he knew his mother's love. Both stories are tragic yes but its much more sadder for orphans. Atleast sasuke still had itachi. He is just weak. I know I may sound like a sasuke hater but it is more than justified. He is going against everything his brother stood for makin his sacrifice in vain. All itachi wanted to do was make sasuke a hero but he chose to be a villain. Pretty stupid if you ask me.

They both suffered equally in part 1. However, by part 2 Sasuke suffered more due to the whole "Truth of Itachi" thing.

The pain of losing parents at young age is different than coming to the world with parents already dead, sasuke was popular, yet they didnt know the pain sasuke had nor they understood it, instead they praised him, unlike naruto who kept getting slapped around by everyone at that time, which is obviously frustrating for a little kid who doesnt know how to deal with these things, i'd say both with a slight advantage to sasuke.

Naruto - Had no family everyone hated him for like 11 years i think, lost jirya

Sasuke - Had a family ,clan all killed by his brother then killed him but when he was at leaf village he was one of the popular person

In Terms Of Pain: Sasuke. Yes It's True Naruto Never Had A Family-But He Did Not Hvae The Bond Eather That Cased Sasuke So Much Pain When His Died....Can't Lose What You Never Had Nor Can Loseing It Hurt You.

Naruto had nothing from the start and was treated poorly

Sasuke had everything then lost it all in a single night and found out his brother killed everyone..

personally I lean more to Sasuke because he actually had something when Naruto did not

IMO, Naruto had to suffer more in one scenes because no one wanted him around he had a whole country who hated him, he had no friends, no respect, no family, and was only around to be used as a weapon if needed, but Naruto accepted who and what he was and strives to become the hokage at first to be acknowledged by his village, Now he is also accepting to bear everyone's pain and hate to break the cycle.

Sasuke he had everyone love love him, he had friends, he just shut them out to focus on killing his brother. Granted who knew his family and clan and lost them but if you watch Sasukes memory Itachi and there mother were the only ones who he ever really payed and attention to him, there father and clans men were focused on destroying Konaha. But Sasuke had people there for him Naruto didn't he chose pain and hatred, Naruto didn't

Naruto wins this one for two reasons first narutos childhood was way worse then sasukes for that that everyone in the village considered Naruto as nothing more then a creature and looked at him with eyes that held the intent to kill while sasuke was looked at as a prodigy the second reason is that Naruto fought with his heart and soul to even get the slightest bit of aknoledgement while sasuke was given it from the begging

Now while a lot will say Saskue because he knew his family before Itachi killed them, that hatred was born of not understanding why he did it. And now that he knows why it was done his anger is justified if not a lil misguided. Naruto on the other hand has learned not to dwell on the past but use it as motivation to have a brighter future. So i guess you can Saskue suffers more, but that's only because he chose too.

Sasuke saw his whole clan dead; killed by his brother whom he loved and trusted. Naruto was constantly shunned by the older generation of people. Sasuke was treated as a celebrity in the village. Naruto was treated as an infection and a danger. Sasuke excelled at everything he did and people showered him in attention.

Naruto lost his closest 'friend'. Naruto lost Jiraiya one of the few people to acknowledge him. Sasuke found out Itachi was forced to kill his clan. Naruto saw what happened to his parents, how they died.

Seems to me like all Sasuke lost was his clan and didn't go through much residual pain. :/

Sasuke saw his entire clan massacred lost his father and mother and was betrayed byt he closest friend/brother he had.

Naruto never had a family, was never tought right from wrong or scowled. never could liook up to anyone, was shunned and detested by most elders and hated by children.
