Who should have died in the war?

Ever since the war started there have been people complaining about the lack of deaths, including myself.

However, who should have logically died? Not to be confused with who you wanted to die.

I wonder if all the characters really didn't have to die.

Choji should be dead too fighting the gedo statue like that... last time i seen the real gedo is when negato summoned it when yahiko died fighting danzo and hanzo. That gedo takes a shinobis life force.. choji should be dead lol and 5 kage ..

Nerf no jutsu + Plot no jutsu, Rinnegan has so many feats that could instantly kill opponents but Kishi hides them and then forces the Rinnegan user to conform to the MC's fighting style instead of their own.

Without Gai and Kakashi, Obito's Human Path would've killed Naruto before the fight started, it's one of the reasons he couldn't use Kamui later on, dojutsu are too OP in the right hands. Same goes for Sasuke who somehow forgets how to use Deva and Preta against Momofodder

Kishi wrote the Rinnegan users as bad yes but not evil. Rinnegan users wanted the dream that wasn't real. They didn't want people dead.
