City was bound to lose before the end of EPL season that was for sure. There is no way they can go unbeaten.

City aren't Barcelona, so they are in reach by anyone.

Escorp looks like your dream came true all tho Torres didn't play :p thats why they won lol

I like what the commentator said, "Chelsea with an amazing result, but also mAN u with the great result." lol

Meh ~ I saw it coming.

Now, the difference between ManU and ManCity is only 2 points (not even the equivalent of the 3 points won by the Derby). Despite what many critics might say, United remain the most consistent team.

City right now won only against United and Tottenham in the Top 7 and drawn (same as United) against Liverpool. They still have to play against Arsenal furthermore next week and I won't be surprised (after the narrow 1-0 win against Arsenal in Carling Cup) if this time, Wenger turns the players around and win it against City.

Gonna put a more in-depth analysis in the General Debates thread in a few mins.

well they did spend alot of money but the commentator today said chelsea spent more and combined they spent a total of 700 million..... and city r a good team but people dont like them and other team managers say bad stuff because they went crazy and took out their old players and got new ones and we got sturridge who played for man city before and he is owning!

Managers hardly have good things to say to the other team, as they are focused on their own teams. Chelsea won, but still need to do a lot more, lets not forget a weakened Liverpool side beat them not once, but twice.

United is the most consistent team in EPL as Escorp said, City, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool have a long way to still go.

First, before today defeats, it was 2 draws, 0 defeats and 12 wins for City!

But but....They still were not the more consistent. United already played all teams in Top 8. Moreover, we played 6 of those 7 teams in the first 10 matches and we're still second. Despite the hellish schedule and humiliation against City, they still grab more points against the big team than City.

City still had to play against big guns. They lost today at Chelsea, will play next week against Arsenal and still got a match against Stoke during Boxing Day.

So, if they don't win the 2 following crucial matches, United still will remain the more consistent.
