I see your point. Nothing about them having large reserves was ever said, and a few members of the clan having large reserves doesn't mean that every member of the clan has it. Of course, if you're talking about individual members, then Hashirama has chakra comparable to BM Naruto, as he said the amount was comparable to his own. Sasuke and Madara have well above average chakra at the very least, as they use Mangekyo techniques with impunity, which are known for their huge chakra cost.

Okay. Of course I agree Uchiha have high quality chakra, due the spiritual energy running in their veins. But I differ they having great quantities of chakra (and I also differ Senju having great quantities of chakra).
Let me explain.
I opened this thread because there was a rumor about these clans having great chakra reserves, and I don't believe these rumors being true at all. So I needed thoughts and evidence to percieve a collective deduction about what was the truth behind this rumor.

...it seems a shinobi needs both physical and spiritual energy to mold chakra.
Uchiha clan have high quality chakra, so they can use a little bit of chakra to produce a jutsu with great effect, but it keeps being little quantities of chakra.
Senju clan have a lot of lifeforce, so their techniques are very effected with yang properties (healing abilities, or the mokuton element who is full of life, it's strong enough). But they also don't have that great quantities of chakra.

The reason is that shinobi need both physical and spiritual energies to release chakra. But the elder son only inherited spiritual energy, while the younger son only inherited the physical energy. That's the main problem here...these sons lack the counterpart energy to have great reserves.

You need both Spiritual and Physical (Body) Energy to release chakra. Uchiha lacks physical while Senju lacks spiritual energy. (Look the end of your own reference)

You also need to take into account that it has been hinted at that chakra is inherited in part from parents and the like. Madara and Izuna would have been born already with atleast a decent level of reserves because they are atleast hinted to be the sons of the Uchiha clan head of that time and by proxy the strongest Uchiha at that time. And then they constantly trained from a young age, exhausting themselves over and over again to build up their chakra reserves over time. Eventually they'd unlock the Mangekyou which have very chakra costly jutsu and it's said that Madara used it so often he went blind, so I'd assume his chakra levels skyrocketed from that aswell. Everytime a shinobi exhausts their chakra reserves, they gain a little more each time they recover.
Sasuke was near enough the exact same, and then he got a curse seal from Orochimaru that bolstered his reserves aswell. Think about it. He only had enough chakra for two Chidori at first, but then after recovering he managed 3 of them thanks to the cursed seal. And then everytime he would train with it he exhausted himself alot, which in turn would get him more and more chakra back in return.
