Didn't use is not = couldn't use.
Sasuke First copied tech with 2 tomoe.
Sarada did it with 1. Manga doesn't give a requirement.
Sasuke first used genjutsu with 3tomoe.
Sarada did it with one. Again manga doesn't give a base requirement.
So why are we assuming there is? Sasuke wasnt even a genjutsu type. Sarada has been mentioned to be one. They should clearly have different feats in that department.
It's not a retcon. If she were to somehow pull out susanoo with 1t then I'd cry bullshit.
Edit: Also she has supposedly had the Sharingan since she was small. Meanwhile sasuke was only aware of his after graduation. Big difference

The point is, you don't use something for 200+ chapters, it most likely doesn't work.
There's a reason why Sasuke never used Genjutsu until the time skip, because he needed to master his Sharingan. No need to try to make valid points out of SP's asspulls
I mean even the copying ability was half-assed. Sasuke couldnt' even copy Chidori ... and she done did Lightning Armor :lol!!!

I see where the problem is here. It's not that she can 'suddenly' copy ninjutsu ( btw, Sarada copied Boruto's Ninjutsu ), but that she's now caught up to Boruto/Mitsuki in the Ninjutsu department. And these are the same people who were complaining that Sarada wasn't versatile! The hypocrisy. :lol
Man, today's episode has to be the best episode I've ever watched. Sarada totally rustling everyone with her talent.

I'm not regretting a single comment I made on Sarada getting Genjutusu. Cause it was obvious from the start she'd get it at some point. (Hint: databook).
So now the problem has now shifted to Sarada being too talented I see. Oh well.

Sarada fainted after copying the shadow clone usage (after using it)
Sarada copied 3-5 Lightning ninjutsu, without much struggle or slow down. And according to episode, she copied a technique exclusive to only the Kiba swords, which she performed without one.
Much less, the ass-pull thought of it. Look I have no problem with copying ninjutsu when it's realistic.
Take a look at Sasuke, he couldn't copy Chidori despite have the Lightning affinity, he put his blood sweat and tears into it. Yet now we can just copy anything these days without much limitations.
It's kind of stupid. Filler or not, it's ruining the Naruto series and giving this series a bad name.

I agree the number of tech she copied is much but then again, sasuke copied Lee's speed( something that took Lee yeaaars to achieve) in no time. You probably don't think about it but that was worse than what Sarada pulled this episode. Canon has shown that you can learn haxx tech(chidori level) through the regular means in weeks. So Sarada copied weeks of knowledge in a short time. Sasuke copied years worth in 2 weeks.
And that was you assuming anyways. You can call it retcon if you want. They haven't 'redefined' any rules.
I'm just calling anything not established in the original series a retcon when it was never showed.
The fact that Kishimoto never had Sasuke utilize Genjutsu until he properly learned it, is my point. Whether anyone takes it seriously is on them.
That's not even my issue with the whole thing. It took months for Sasuke to perfect Lee's movements, but it seems like you can get away with anything nowadays.
It's not just Sarada, this whole series reeks of lazyness. But this episode amplified my problem with the Anime.

She'd just got it. She still need to get accustomed to it.
She's obviously 'improved' since then. Unlike Boruto, Sarada trains. We saw how she doesn't sleep at night, practicing how to hit targets with shuriken, and now she's gotten to a point she can hit the target as many times as 8 while completely devoid of sight. That's how much of a practitioner Sarada is.
I'm surprised she copied that many in like 1 episode. I'm a little perplexed too, but Sarada has been shown to train A LOT, and she's an avid reader also. She was shown not long ago picking up a history book on the Uchiha clan, learning about the Sharingan and its abilities. She probably found some of the stuff there and started learning on it. Sasuke on the other hand didn't know about the Sharingan's abilities right off the bat. He had to learn them all on his own. So that's another pros Sarada has over Sasuke.

Sarada inherited Sasuke's prodigious talent and Sakura's keen mind and CC. Like why are we so surprised here? Pt.1 Sakura was talented and extremely precocious. This is like putting those two into one. So I'm not surprised she's picking up stuff way before Sasuke, cause she got Sasuke's talent plus Sakura's talent too somehow.
And Sarada trains vigorously. This isn't Boruto, you know, who slacks off yet can pioneer jutsus with ease. Sarada has talent and also still trains.
Just imagine what Boruto will be able to do when he trains as much as Sarada.
It's not so bad, and you were all anxious about Sarada not being versatile. I think this satisfied the fans. But unfortunately, it's not welcomed on Boruto fans side.
It could not be filler tho. Sarada got 4 Stars in Genjutsu in the databook ( and goes up till Chuunin Exams, I guess) , so I think this makes sense. It's not impromptu, you know. They planned this way before. They already had planned for her having Genjutsu way before this Arc.

None of what she did today was based on training though. It was all Sharingan-broken lore hax.
We've seen enough from them both IMOJust imagine what Boruto will be able to do when he trains as much as Sarada.

The Anime represents the series, and so far they have been lazy AF with the writing. Everyone is talking about training and shit lol, but have we seen anyone train other than Boruto learn the Rasengan?
