Who remembers "Inner Sakura"? And where the hell did she go?

After going on a nostalgic induced adventure of Part 1, I noticed something...

What on earth happened to Sakura's split personality?

Kakashi pointed it out during the Chunin Exams and although it seemed like something just added for comedic effect, it did work (well slightly), breaking Ino's mind control jutsu and all. Plus it looked like Inner Sakura had some monstrous strength, well that was what I inferred from how angry she was all the time...

Now I know these days it's safe to say Sakura doesn't necessarily get the most love on this site, and she's deemed pretty useless, but to me it would have been nice if that 'Inner Sakura' trait of hers had stuck around for a while, and actually it could have been developed into a special trait of hers, either for comedic or serious purposes. Hell I don't know, maybe some sort of brief 'Berserker' mode where her strength goes up or something, but she doesn't remember what happened afterwards. Also it wouldn't hurt for a member of Team 7 to get some screen time and character development once in a while.....especially when she's supposed to take the role of the main female character. But I guess we'll have to wait to see what Kishi does with her.

Because it's no longer of any use to her. The only effect it would have now is "comedy", and she doesn't get enough on-panel time for that.

Yeah inner Sakura is far better than her current personality. But I guess Kishi got tired of it.

The real Sakura consumed her. Inner Sakura might've been always angry and violent, but the real Sakura is pure malice incarnate, and she devoured inner Sakura and consumed every bit of her and took joy in her pain while she was being devoured by her, just like a parasitic twin consumes all the nutriments that mother's umbilical chord produces, leaving the other baby to starve and then the twin baby also wraps his umbilical chord around his neck and chokes him to death for bonus points to his high score, just because he was nostalgic of games like the old GTAs or Postal.
